We go to the same school and we never really talked before until last year when she interviewed me for an article in the school newspaper. We hung out a lot and talked since then and she became more girlfriend this week.

I don't count my first three year relationship being serious. Didn't experience much with her. Or I just didn't love her.

My first real serious relationship robbed me of everything. Everything was amazing. I remember waking up ready for the day her and I planned to meet to hang out and go out and have fun.

I was 19 she was 17, we would make out everywhere. Couldn't take her home so we were out in public constantly. Until my birthday a month later she met my mom for my birthday who my mom loved and appreciated. Her and my mother were best friends.

3 years later, its been 6 months and I can't move the fck on. She's happily in a relationship seeing another man who I can clearly say is far uglier than me. I'm struggling to even talk to girls because their just intimidated by me, my past, just girls can't take me serious because I come off as a player or some shit.

I'm on a huge downward spiral smoking weed blowing my brain and heart out.

My first serious relationship was pretty over-dramatic, which, from what I've gathered, is pretty much par for the course when it comes to first go-arounds among high school aged folks.

One of my favorite memories was when we'd talk on the phone and she'd clearly be upset with something but wouldn't divulge what it was. I'd play along and begin guessing broad topics for 20 minutes until it was revealed she was upset because she saw a photo of me where I was leaning slightly closer to the girl on my left than the one on my right.

Good times. Somehow didn't last. Don't know where things went wrong.

So after a few months...she tells me to come visit her parents..I'm like Ok..it took me an hour to find her "house" in some wasteland...her parents are unemployed hicks...her dad is gawking at my car...at dinner her bro (who was. A junkie) is staring at my watch and her dad rants about being a communist and hating kids who don't deserve the things they've gotten. Btw I'm coming over to the window every 5 minutes to check if my car hasn't been stolen.

When I'm leaving the gf goes like "my aunt supports me" and I'm leaving my household when I set off for college...but in the back off my mind I'm like "I can't be dating THIS" (what would my friends say if they found out about her financial status?) And my parents would have killed me... so I broke it off

TL'DR: I broke off with my first serious GF..because I was a yuppie dickhead...tho I did and do get lots of poosay in college

I was a late bloomer. She was also an extrovert and outgoing. I being an introvert. We had a meeting with all of the people in our squadron and that is where we met. I was shy, she wasn't and she went after me. The relationship moved too fast for me. Of course the first months were good but I guess she got bored. She was just a hoe and I was a inexperienced kid. I felt hurt when the relationship was over. Now when I think about it, I have to cringe at it. It was more of a serious relationship for me than for her.
