Xavier McDaniel tom chambers Dale Ellis.

Criminally underrated big 3.

Had to deal with all time team of showtime lakers so not much playoff success.

But two years back to back, 86-87 and 87-88 they averaged 20+ a game.

86-87

Ellis 24.9
X man 23
Chambers 23.3

87-88

Ellis 25.8
X man 21.4
Chambers 20.4

Going to key arena watching them niggahs ball out was good times.

Dale Ellis a straight assassin from outside. Picture perfect form.

X man scrappy bully that swing on a niggah

Tom chambers smart mobile big white dude that can hit the outside shot.

And before y'all start yappin bout 80's pace and shit, only those crazy nugget teams led by hofers and 83 84 sixers team had 3 20+ scorers.

Only been done 16 times in NBA history and we did it twice.

Recognize game kids.

Oh, yeah! That was an awesome team before Chambers signed with phoenix.

And I have to mention that despite the fact that X-Man was one heck of an aggressor, you can't discount his basketball skills. McDaniel was a decent shooter and could score in the 30s thanks to it.

But, yeah, this basically is a great personification of his career:

They're great to watch, 3 of them just balling in those years...

Dale was a great scorer then... Tall, athletic, terrific without the ball, could post-up and do damage inside, and to me he's the most underrated shooter of all-time, dude was elite from everywhere but the FT-line, great form and extremely quick release.

Chambers was a big, very athletic dude, with an outside shot and some handles... Dude got buckets.

X-Man was that athletic swingman, physical af, rugged player who never backed down, pretty good rebounder, good defensive player, plenty of skill on offense, mainly in the post, could even pass.

They even had some nice role-players like McMillan and Lister.

Nobody expected them to do much but they really did damage in the 1987 Playoffs, they were going completely ham...

Decent shooter, pretty good in the post and a very good finisher inside... While a very good athlete.

Shame that injuries hit him while still young, taking away plenty of his play and potential...

No.

The thread with Crawford and wade highlights inspired my favorite player thread.

And Dale was in my op.

Nate McMillan might be the definition for the term "role player". He did all of the little things.

Derrick McKey is also someone who is deserving of a shout out.

You do realize only a few teams had 3 20+ scores right?

16 times in NBA history.

About 12 teams total.

We did it twice.

College:

Bruce Dalrymple, Mark Price, John Salley

Not sure if they were more underrated or underachieving. Should have done big things.

And Mac played all of his career in Seattle, like 12 seasons, starting then coming off the bench... Very good defensive player, very good passer, pretty good rebounder, hustled, could hit open shots... Just a very dependable, good role-player to have on your team.

Yup, McKey definitely deserves a shout out, dude could defend, score in the mid-teens, shoot, was athletic, nice passer, not a bad rebounder...

Michael Cage was also there and deserves a mention.
