Nobody. Dude getting triple doubles in preseason now.
Homeboy playing preseason like it's the NBA playoffs.
Durant can't win the MVP this year no matter what he does. Westbrook is the core of this OKC team.

As a lebron fan the alphaness of Westbrook makes me jealous, I admit it. He is a commanding alpha. BUT, being alpha only helps to win rings when your IQ is above 70, not quite the case here..Both things rarely combine; See Jordan/Kobe.

I see them favorites this season, they have all the right pieces to win if they stay healthy.

I'd say 23/6/7 is getting lit up. I didn't say Curry locked him down.
And feel free to post the %'s. I know Westbrick fans don't typically like %'s.

How many billions has Jordan made in business dealings?

Half his wardrobe is Jordan clothing.
He's doing it right.

Enough to buy a team. You have to be a billionaire to pay millionaires.

Russell should be 1/1
that series in 2012 was rigged as ***. David Stern sacrificed the young Thunder to LeBron.

He had his chance last season. Unfortunately he wasnt able to carry the team to the playoffs like KD did the year before

Pretty sure Patrick Beverley circles every game he has against Russell Westbrook. No other PG in the league challenges him physically and mentally like Beverley.

Durant didn't have to deal with nearly as many injuries to his teammates nor did he have to deal with as much roster turnover as Westbrook did last year. And Westbrook himself missing 15 games last year sure didn't help matters. He wouldn't have carried OKC to as good of a record as Durant did in 2014, but if Westbrook only misses 10 games instead of 15 last year, the Thunder make the playoffs.

This. Worse than Curry and Paul. Tbh Westbrook was horrible defensively. OKC was about +5 without him on the court defensively. Harden-level stuff.

Harden carried 3 garbage teams to the playoffs in 3 successive years. Westbrook couldn't get it done with a stacked team. His inefficiency and high TO prone game doesn't really translate well in the closing minutes of games. He's definitely the most fun player in the League to watch though.

If he makes the playoffs this year, teams need to watch out (except whatever other team inevitably wins the championship, of course).

Stacked was over the top but Harden led Lin, Patterson, Parsons & Asik to the 'offs in his debut season for the Rockets. Last years team wasn't all that much better either considering the vast amount of time Dwight, Beverley, Jones & Motiejunas missed.
Westbrook has a better team.

Right now there is a clear separation with who the three best point guards are in the league, being: Westbrook, Curry and Paul (in whatever order you want). We all know that these three are on their own level.
The only thing holding Russell Westbrook back from being the best is simply his decision-making, whether that be too many quick jumpers, especially three-pointers, and also taking risky chances for steals on defense.
Can Billy Donovan coach Russell Westbrook to make better decisions with a ball and gamble less on defense? If so, then he is the best player at his position. Scott Brooks let him run wild and get by only on his incredible athletic ability.

There is no way in hell that Westbrook becomes the best player in the league. There is no way in hell that he'll be better than a healthy Durant.

Actually, I was only saying that RW could become the best point guard in the league by improving his decision-making on offense by eliminating some of the quick jumpers that he likes and also being more fundamentally sound on defense.
I wasn't talking about the best player in the league, because I do believe even at his best that he is a notch below LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis. RW could be the fourth best player in the league with the minor improvements that I mentioned above.

Safe to say, those wins were mainly because of Durant. Curry lit Westbrook up period.
23 pts on 50% FG and 43% from 3.
Durant tho, 31ppg on 52% and 49% from 3.

even after a season where he put up his best numbers, but had the worst clutch game record and didnt make the playoffs, people are still overrating his impact. hes an imbecile, his numbers and eccentric play doesnt translate to wins, deal with it.

Westbrook is so overrated it's sickening.
The dude is the best athlete in the league now that Bron is scared to take the doses he once took.
No player more exiting with a full head of steam, going to the bucket right now.
But the downside is, that Russell is a selfish, low-IQ, volume shooting, turnover machine.
Russell led the league in shot attempts by a lot over kobe, but didn't even lead his own team in scoring. :facepalm
Understand that, Westbrook stans.
