He's been too streaky this preseason. Has the skill set to be really good but needs to find his consistency.

Fredette was considered a lights out shooter when he entered the NBA. Where is he now? :confusedshrug:

hezonja is on another world as an athlete and already played in a league where the competition is much better than the NCAA

Fredette was considered a lights out shooter when he entered the NBA. Where is he now? :confusedshrug:Hasn't Jimmer been relatively bad at shooting as a pro? At least Mario was decent/competent in the ACB.
Mario's also got much more ideal size/athleticism for his position.
Mario might be the best shooter of this year's rookie class who gets minutes. I think RJ Hunter is probably a more consistently accurate shooter, personally. Wouldn't be surprised if Hezonja becomes the best shooter of this class down the road, though. He was pretty high on my draft board this summer.

Hezonja > RJ Hunter. After watching them both, Hezonja can create his own shot. For the life of RJ Hunter, I feel he can't. He misses very makeable shots more than probably any rookie I've seen with limited touches this preseason and summer league.

I don't factor in shot creation in my evaluation of "shooting consistency," so maybe we differ there in our definitions.
I'm a huge Hezonja fan for his 2-way potential and floor spacing. In June, I thought he was the best wing prospect in this past year's draft.
