I don't hate Bruce Lee, I just think it's funny some of the unfair fight scenario's I've seen thrown around on ISH and the rest of the net, thought I'd present my own :lol

i dont think wladimir can catch bruce in a street fight, nor do i think bruce would be stupid enough to come close enough to actually try to hit him. maybe some kicks to the belly but thats the best bruce could do. keep in mind wladimir is a boxer, bruce is a mixed martial artist so bruce has more weapons.

Unless you know something about the man's combat record outside of choreographed movies that the rest of us don't... then no, he is clearly not.

For example, Chuck Norris has a lifetime Karate record of 183-10-2 and was the Professional World Middleweight champion 6X (1968-1973). In '69, he was named Black Belt Magazine's fighter of the year and he won the Triple Crown award for most wins that same year. From '68 until he retired from professional fighting, Norris didn't lose a single fight.

Does Lee have any verifiable record like Norris? The man went to plenty of competitions and matches (he met Chuck at one), but he never actually fought anyone there. He did his little one inch punch or push up demonstrations and then ducked out the back door once dudes started actually fighting.

I like Lee's movies and thought he had a very interesting interpretation of philosophy. But the man was an actor, not a fighter. He was the Chinese Steven Seagal.
