Anyone going to get it?
This could potentially be one of the greatest games ever made. 400 (yes you read that correctly) hours of game play.
I was a HUGE fan of New Vegas, so this should be a blast.

I played Halo 3 like it was a second job, but the later editions turned me off of them.
Never been able to get back into it since.

If you're a fan of New Vegas, as I am, don't get your hopes too up. NV had a different developer, different writers, lots of input from the original creators of the series. FO3, bethesda's game, was nowhere near as interesting or full of depth or replay value. And for the most part, fans of the original games felt like they butchered the setting.
Maybe they learned their lesson, but I honestly doubt it. Instead of praising Obsidian for New Vegas, they've acted as if it never happened

Can't go anywhere with out seeing fallout 4 promotion at the moment. It's on busses and trams around here now. I'm pumped!

eh, 400 hours of shitty Bethesda content - these guys just can't write for shit - don't sound too exciting, especially after many great and long games this year
it will also be a bugfest of epic proportions

gifreaction on his alt making fun of a software company that is one of the best at writing. Not many games can reach the levels of story bethesda pull off in all their side quests. Most big RPGs have a good main story and shit side quests, bethesda have a great main story and then just as good side quests which isn't easy to pull off.
It's amazing that you can pick up a bethesda game and find better developed and written stories in throw away side quests than you can in the whole of the halo franchise's main story lines.

I've wanted to like Fallout forever but I just can't get into it. I couldn't tell you why, I love elder scrolls games. I think it's the guns, I don't like gunplay when the shooting mechanics are bad. VATS is the dumbest thing ever, but it shouldn't break a game for me
