Lebron is expected to play in the Cleveland Cavaliers regular-season opener next week despite his recent back problems, a league source told Yahoo Sports on Saturday.

He received an anti-inflammatory injection in his back on Oct. 13 and has played in only two preseason games. James, however, has been working out daily and his back is improving, the source said.

James received a similar anti-inflammatory shot last season because of back pain and a strained left knee. He recently said he would be open to receiving another shot in his back if necessary.

What a warrior. Sacrificing his body because of his injury prone teammates not giving him any slack. Kyrie and Love is going to cost LeBron 2-4 years off his career. Hope it was worth it.

 Yet you got all excited when Love got his shoulder ripped out, saying some shit about how it "evened the playing field"

LeBron just has more mental strength than most guys.

You don't play as many games as he has, at his level, without having God-like wherewithal.

Something guys like Jordan simply didn't have.

Consistency. That's what separates LeBron from everyone else. 27-7-7 year after year after year. Carries team to finals year after year after year. Plays majority of games year after year after year.

That's what I look for in a GOAT candidate. Jordan had a shot if he didn't quit in the middle of his prime. And his team went on to won 60 games without him, so it forever taints his legacy.

I'm predicting that the Cavs will once again disappoint on opening night, which will then give Bulls fans the impression that they can actually contend
