I'll post reasoning later
But I really, really don't see an arguement for Kobe.
The thing about 06 is, not only were there rule changes for that year, but his defense was trash that year as well. If he took defense seriously that year, then maybe...

This. While Curry is slightly overrated, his peak blows Kobe's peak out of the water. Kobe missed the playoffs in his PRIME! I just can't see a team led by prime Curry missing the playoffs.

You really aren't helping him by using the whole "curry spice" analogy. Let's face it, no one should be cooking with curry powder unless it's outdoors. It gets in the carpet, the curtains, the drywall... everywhere and it makes a home smell like garbage. So when you say "chef curry", I just think of that horrible smell and it's simply just demeaning to the guy and his father Dell for that matter.

Peak Wilt averaged more assists and shot a much higher FG% than Curry.

Curry in 2015:
1. Better and more efficient scorer.
2. Better team player.
3. Better ball handler and creator for teammates.
He was just a better offensive player and commanded so much respect on and off ball. kobe lived on contested mid range shots and those shots have proven not to be the best kind of basketball. Im pretty confident with Steph here.
Put Steph on those Gasol teams and I think they are a lot better.

Worse defender, worse scorer, and lost a finals mvp to a role player on his team.
Good luck with your pick bro.

Better offensive player and better team player. That golden state team would be much worst with Kobe. Those Lakers teams would do the same with Curry.

How is he a "better offensive player" if Kobe is one of the 3-5 greatest scorers in history (Curry is not) and roughly the same caliber of playmaker as Curry? 2001 Kobe was just as good at running the offense as Steph ever was, and for his career, dude has 5 rings to back that up.
Curry is a better teammate than Jordan, and is arguably a bitter fit for his team, but what does that really mean? A teams makeup is 100% dependent on your superstar.

funny how quickly people forget how good a certain player was. Kobe will go down as one of the great players in history. Curry has had like 1-2 good seasons so far and didn't even play well in the first 2-3 games of the finals and now suddenly everybody is overacting and arguing he's the boss of all bosses :facepalm
