Pee Wee Kirkland was a forward, who led the Rucker League in scoring in 1970 and 1971. He signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bulls after they begged him to play for them in excess of $40,000, but never played because he made more money selling drugs.

That's right. The man was so alpha he TURNED DOWN the NBA. He was sent to prison shortly after, where he spent 11 years in the joint.

In a semi-pro game he scored 135 points and averaged 70 points a game for a season.

The NBA tries to keep a lid on this story because of just how good he was and the fact that he shitted on the NBA's offer.

No doubt he would have dominated the league.

my barber grew up with him. He served as kind of a basketball mentor to him. Guy is a legend over there.

One of the GOAT streetball legends, no doubt... Many say he would've been one of the best pros ever, if he ever made into the league... Shameful what happened but hey, it was his decision.

Raymond Lewis, man... Another big what-if, he was blackballed though.
Dude dropped 56 in a summer-league game in 1983 vs Mike Cooper, at 30 years old without ever being a pro... That's SERIOUS, breh.
