Pretty cool... Ewing and Griffin probably had the 2 most imposing ones, although MJ wasn't shabby either. Oh, and Kobe's triple :applause:

I would say:

1. Blake Griffin
2. Patrick Ewing
3. Dwyane Wade
4. Michael Jordan

Cool video bro. Griffin and MJ's couldn't be more appropriate. :applause:

True showmen of the game.

My favorite was Stockton's. The dude had a steal before he even scored a basket; just thought that was cool because he is the all-time leader in steals.

Cool video btw

Sick video, can't believe Bird & Dr. J were omitted though

Also gotta love Kobe chucking from WELL beyond the arc. Can't say I'm surprised. :lol

That's pretty cool :applause:

Plenty of them "say" a little bit something about the player, or things to come...

Ones I liked the most were Grant Hill's, Griffin's, Wade's Ray-Ray's, Jordan's, Barkley's, Kobe's, Kyrie's, Carter's and Stockton's.

Probably didn't have it :confusedshrug:

Yup.. but purely shooting wise, his may have actually been the best of the bunch, or looked the best :applause:

Ray shaking iverson for his first. Grant hill also had a superb one. Duncan making it look too easy.

Noted:

Shaq's, Barkley's, Robinson's and Ewing's first points were off dunks
Pippen's first basket was from an assist by MJ (MJ made Pip's career from Day One)
Miller's first bucket was a layup
Dream missed his first three shots, including a dunk attempt

What's Parker doing in there? Misleading title.

Yeah, poor Hakeem got stuffed by the rim on one of his putback attempts. Out of all of them, Dream's was probably he most awkward and least smooth. Of course the guy goes on to be probably the smoothest post player in NBA history, but his first basket was awkward as hell.

Grant Hill's and Ray Allen's whole efforts were pretty cool.

Wade getting his first bucket on a charge lol. Griffin's was nice. Kobe's was smooth. Hakeem, well lol. Jordan's was Jordan-esque. Vince ran back on D faster after that made shot than I've seen him move in 10 years. Parker making a trey with the ultimate troll job to start his career.

It's no secret Hakeem (or Akeem back when he was a rook) learned his game from Moses Malone. SO the three missed lay-ups and dunk attempt was so appropriate for Akeem at that point.

Might be the Bulls fan in me, but Rose's was pretty nice

Now the memories of pre-ACL Rose are coming

Fuq the NBA holding back some Super HD quality footage of NBA games and plays from all time greats.

Saw the 1970s with Pete Maravich? Clearer than a Chinese TV!!

Of course Malone would get his first from a Stockton assist.

Wow, Hakeem's couldn't' be less fitting compared to the kind of player he became.

Rose's first basket should have been called a travel.

A lot of player's first shots were vastly different from the style the're known for like Gasol's transition dunk, Reggie in the post and Tony Parker hitting a 3. Blake, Jordan and Ray had the best.

Very cool video. I found the awkward ones some of the most interesting, as it made me wonder about their mindset and and the first game jitters that were probably there on some level in a lot of those cases. Some of those shots just had a "Just let me slop something that will fall into the hoop so I can get this thing rolling" type of feel.

kobes three pointer was 4 feet behind the arc

by far the most impressive. how any rookie has the balls to take a shot like that for his first nba basket is beyond me

one of a kind

Not sure if that's his first shot, but the closest I can find (the first one against Houston). Nice ****ing move tho.

Rookie highlights just because.

Bird would murder in today's NBA.

Maybe so... His 1st game was against the Rockets. Yea, that was a nice move.

Rookie Bird's combination of off-ball game, passing, shooting and just overall feel for the game put most vets to shame... And the (tremendous) impact was already there, always with terrific grit and hustle.
Plus, those who only remember old, broken down by injuries Bird should watch stuff like that... Young(er) Larry was a pretty nice athlete, showing great coordination/fluidity for a 6'9, 220 lbs player, could run the floor, deceptively quick, great footwork, already pretty strong...
