CP3 in the east is a legend.
He'd actually get to face a sub 50 win team in the playoffs.
No Warriors, OKC, Spurs, Grizzlies, etc, every round.
They definitely get to the finals.

WTF. CP is on a better team now. Superb shooters in Riddick, Pierce and Crawford. Solid creators in Lance, Crawford, Josh Smith, Blake and Pierce. The best finishers and athletes at PF and Center. Super vets that carried winning teams themselves in Josh, Pierce and CP. Clutch shooters in Pierce and Crawford. A won it all coach. 11 deep. Everybody on the teams has several skills beyond the position.

Yes. The fortune of the Bulls would change if they had an All-Star who fulfills the traditional role of a Point Guard; since Derrick Rose is bound to remain remiss to that, an archetypal Point Guard who's more skillful AND willing than him in that regard would definitely help.
The Bulls could have availed from Rose's playmaking abilities in last year's playoffs

Bulls + CP3 = NBA Finals.

If you assume the Bulls have great health along with CP3 you should do the same for the Cavs.
And Chicago gets bounced in 5-6 against a fully healthy Cavs team.

This current Bulls team would actually fit Paul beautifully.

Rose just plays a type of game you can't win it. CP3 is infinitely better than Rose at this point and the Bulls would be much more dangerous with him.

Not a dam thing. But CP3 is just a much better player right now. Rose is the anti-winner. His style is completely the opposite of how you win. Way too much iso ball. CP3 is the most complete PG in the game and one of the best PGs ever. Rose is about at 75% of his peak athleticism. He is still athletic but no longer special where he can just blow by guys all the time. And we are seeing a guy that doesn't have much else in the bag. Beta attitude.

Yes they do get to the finals with CP3.
Shame, Bulls were on track to become kings of the east until DRose became the guy that we know now :(

Beta attitude is when you let ricket chay rabbit, need-a-speed-bump Westbrook dictate how to speed up a game that the Clippers needed to be slowed down.
How in the world do you think you can assess a ball player and whether somebody is a winner when you are basically a very negative person.

Its funny because Rose on the '14 Clippers is definitely better than Paul. In Pauls best chance to advance to the third round he played like he didn't know what to do in the playoffs. He lacked leadership and had no idea how to control the game against OKC. He speed-ed up the game to play into Westbrooks game when the Clippers were ahead comfortably with 2 minutes left.
Rose definitely played a different game last night and as I've been saying for four years now, PG's usually play the way the coaches tell them too moreso than any other player on the court. And Rose was very responsive to Thibes who called his number often.
As far as that leadership thing, I heard Barkley say the same thing last night as he said Noah was the leader when Rose won the MVP. Barkley is an idiot, Noah hardly played that year and was benched twice in the fourth quarter of the ECF. The two greatest coaches, probably ever (Phil and Pop), in the league raved about Rose's leadership at 22 years of age. Without Thibes a better assessment can be made of Rose independently taking over the team as many here, most of which never played organized ball were attributing to Rose, without ever noticing that Thibes is a control freak, that doesn't turn his team over to players.
Rose didn't play all that different with the ball in his hands. he found a way to jack up 22 shots and had his routinely horribly inefficient game we have grown accustomed to since 11....38% TS in case you are curious.
Even worse, dude claims he can't see straight...yet he takes 22 shots.
It was the same old Rose last night...bad shots, wild drives, and some really great plays as well.
Just because he played off the ball more and moved the ball quicker doesn't change the type of player he is and was because it was just more of the same.

LOL...it's called the Western Conference. Nobody is refuting that Paul has more help...the problem is that he plays in a real conference where there are like 6 or 7 real teams as opposed to 1 or 2...

I guess you are a Rose fan. Sorry but I don't think too highly of the guy. Both as a basketball player and his attitude. He was amazing in his prime but that was the past. CP3 is infinitely more impactful in a 82 game season over Rose right now.

I don't see CP3 getting past LeBron's Heat teams. Maybe he would've had a chance last year against LeBron's depleted Cavs team.

He looked to pass first. At times the team didn't know what it wanted it to do and he took the initiative as he is used to doing. :lol TS%, you are lost. PGs and big men are usually betrayed by TS. Its more important when with a new team that the spark plug and initiator stay more aggressive. Aggression is greater than TS% on teams that get stuck. They won and played bad when he wasn't on the floor. Tonight, the team played more relaxed, he facilitated, Mirotic had 10 FGA, Butler, Rose and Gasol all had 11 apiece.

What the hell does this have to do with anything I said? I just pointed out that he's on a team that he has great vibes with now. They were number 1 in offense a year before. I didn't take it beyond that. The OP doesn't say anything about conferences either. CP3 isn't playing now to just get to the finals - that's your low expectations of him talking. The conference thing shouldn't mean that much to him now.

You are free to think what you want, why would I care? You come off more as a hater than some guy with great analysis. This idea you have of yourself as a gypsie that can see the future is what I find funny.

Shooting 8 of 22 or sub 40% TS is bad...doesn't matter the position. Especially for a player like Rose that really isn't impacting the game in any other ways. He's not controlling the pace nearly as much as he used to and he's not the defender he once was.
It was a standard game for him. Moments that make you scratch your head...and some great moments where he looked like his 11 self on some finishes and shots.
The CP3 stuff has everything to do with conference. If the Clippers and Bulls switched conferences...nobody would be asking this question.
In your response...you seemed like asking the question of how Paul would do on the Bulls was silly because he has a better team in LA. If not...then I don't get your point.
