Cream/sugar or black?

I have always preferred some cream and sugar...I know this is looked down on by coffee purists though.

Cream and sugar are absolute musts for me. Coffee slips from a top 3 all-time drink to barely consumable without those additions.

Tea on the other hand cannot be saved in terms of pure taste.

When I did drink coffee back in college it was black with a couple of pinches of salt added to the grind and very, very strong. Got the idea for the salt from a roommate whose dad was in the Coast Guard and apparently that's how they do/did their coffee.

Nowadays its a single cup of gunpowder green tea with honey for me.

If you're gonna drink folgers then add some milk/sugar. Peasant coffee should be treated as such. Some people go crazy with the french vanilla and they don't realize how much sugar that shit has and it starts tasting like chocolate milk after.

But if it's some quality coffee then I can see the elitists POV.

Black coffee is better when it's iced doe.

Cream and sugar, definitely.

No cream, then milk.

I don't drink coffee but when I do it's iced. And if it were hot, it'll be mandatory creamed and sugar. Fck that black shit. I also HATE people who drink coffee and don't rinse their mouth or chew gum, your breath smells like shit.

And TBH, I've noticed this about people who overly depend on coffee, they come off as drunks to me. Their body language just seems twitchy and nerve wrecked.

I'm 99% green tea all of my life. My entire family lives off green tea. Milk, no milk, don't matter. Love my tea over anything.

When you're adding those special creamers such as French Vanilla or Amaretto, there is virtually no need to add sugar.

Iced, cream/sugar. I prefer French Vanilla too. I only drink black coffee if I'm in real desperate need of a caffeine boost.

If hot, black. In some occasions, milk or honey.

If iced, just a flavored cream

If there is no other choices but coffee, with a lot of milk.

That's what I do too.

I don't drink coffee very frequently at all. Maybe a half dozen times in a year. I prefer tea given the choice, which I usually drink with a shot of honey.

Green tea is great for concentration and for focus but it doesn't have the caffeine effects of coffee or black tea.

But people should try to limit their coffee intake or use it smarter. For example I use to have like 2 cups a day but now I'll take like 1/4 a cup in the am just to get me going a bit, I'll have a cup a cup of tee during the afternoon post lunch where my body needs it the most. Then I'll have like 1/2 cup of coffee at like 6-7pm when I'm at home chilling.

I started to become a slave to that shit in the morning but I'm not even tired or anything. I was so accustomed to having it part of my morning routine that I thought I needed to have it for w/e reason. In the morning's we are naturally the sharpest and have the most energy(unless if you wake up @ 5am then by all means go balls deep in that coffee)

But social drinking coffee is a different story. No limits on that.

I also hate people drinking coffee while they're doing uneventful shit like shopping, driving, walking, etc. Enjoy that cup man. Enjoy the stimulants sending good messages to your body.

You can easily get unflavored coffee at Starbucks.

Also I don't think flavored coffee is a trend Starbucks had 16 billion is sales last year.

I take mine with milk or cream and no sugar these days, but I got hooked on coffee in college when a girl dragged me to Cafe Reggio and I got a capuccino with orzata almond syrup. OMG, that was delicious. Also it would be nice that get that original buzz again.

Some years ago I tried going in there to get a "regular" coffee. I'm used to drip-brewed Folgers, Maxwell house, etc...

I told them I wanted a normal coffee...medium roast and nothing too strong. They gave me something they referred to as their "breakfast blend" I think, told me it was more mild and would taste like what I was used to/raised on.

Shit still was like rocket fuel, and bitter as fvck.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll stick to my Folgers or Maxwell house (whichever happens to be on sale when I grocery shop). I make a pot when I wake up, have a couple of cups, and sometimes take a thermos with me.

Shit, I prefer gas-station coffee to Starbucks.

Also, Starbucks (along with skinny jeans, apple products, and other fggt sht) is destroying America!
