First off,

-Jason Kidd (all time favorite, best coach in the nba and this year's coach of the year)
- Timmy D (GOAT PF)
- Jabari Parker (Potential but yet to see him really play)

Kevin Love - how does he shoot it coming off a shoulder injury, and does he get more touches in the post this year?

Anderson Varejao - does he get that quickness back? he should move the ball well with all the scorers around him, looked very slow last night though

Boogie - 25 years old and in his 6th year. If he i ever gonna mature, it needs to start happening soon, some solid vets around him now, not much spacing though.

Kevin Durant - He's playing with a chip on his shoulder and was great in pre season, i think he wins MVP.

Oladipo - Can he make a jump to all-star calibre? Get orlando in the playoff hunt? Very exciting player when hes getting to the basket

Brad Beal - Same as oladipo, can he get to the all-star game? his movement and jumpshot make him fun to watch.

Nerlens Noel/Jahlil Okafor - How do these guys fit alongside oneanother? can Noel make himself into a useful offensive player? Can jahlil scre over legit nba centers, he wasnt great against 7 footers in college. Hinkie needs these guys to succeed or he might lose his job.

as a Heat fan...looking for Gerald Green to be huge off the bench as Wade takes his ailing rests (so infuriating :facepalm ) and would love to see him get 6th man of the year. however, I'm most looking forward to him making some posters out of those in his way

and I want to see how good Kidd can get this Bucks team...they have a very exciting young squad and if Kidd can align their roles, I anticipate them to be very hard to deal with and a burden for opponents (maybe not quite this year, tho I expect some damage, but certainly over the next couple years too)

Wade - Knees.
Bosh - Defense and shooting.
Rio - Shooting.
Whiteside - Defense.
KD - Foot.
LeBron/Kyrie/Love - Their respective injuries.
Rose - Everything.
Westbrook - Triple doubles.
Curry - 3pt record...again.
AD - BITW.
Harden - MVP?

Jazz - Their defense, on paper, seems promising.
Spurs - Are they gonna live up to the hype?
Rockets - Can they win 60+?

Extremely interesting season.

Knicks and Thunder

Westbrook - most exciting player in the league
Porzingis - + Grant as they are the Knicks' future, easily already more likeable than Melo
Winslow - hate to follow a Heat player but I loved him in college
Conley Jr - just plays the game the right way, I've always liked him even though he is not a 'sexy' player
Wall + Rose + Kyrie - to see which one of these guys is the best 1 in the East, and also which one enters the top 5 PG discussion
KAT - to see if Knicks made the right move not tanking those games at the end and losing their chance at him
Kobe - still the most polarizing player and only reason I ever watched Laker games

Andrew Wiggins

Should be interesting to see if this guy can make his way into the superstar tier eventually. Both offensively and defensively, this guy has the tools to be one of the greatest scorers and perimeter defenders in the history of the league.
