And this time against an overrated bucks team in the regular season. Melo was off with his shot but he played good d and found his teammates. D-will was on fire and everyone made contributions as the Knicks destroyed the bucks.

Former #2, Williams, BALLED OUT.

Porzingis did the damn thing, too.

They could be a playoff team. I like their us against the world mentality. A team that has no expectations and nothing to lose can be dangerous.

I never wanted Lebron, Melo was always my favorite player and the Knicks my favorite team.

Don't bad mouth the nets, they are going to supply us with some serious top level talent over the next three years. They're great blokes.

Well we swept you in regular season last year, and we won 20+ more games. What else do I have to say?

Knicks tanked last year, in order to be good this year and in the future. Your team is screwed for the next decade.

Kp was nice, but this was a total team effort. If I had to choose mvp of this game it would be derrick williams.

I'm loving their bench. Grant, Galloway, Williams, Thomas, KOQ.

Outscored the starters 73-49

Your fanbase is probably the weakest in the league. Watch any Nets game and see how many people on the front row are on their phone acting all hipster.

I'm loving their bench. Grant, Galloway, Williams, Thomas, KOQ.

Outscored the starters 73-49

KOQ reminds me a lot of the toughness/grittiness of the early 90s Knicks teams. He didn't let anyone go up for an easy layup. He hard fouled a few times but not flagrant enough to call as one. I kind of think of him as a Charles Oakley-lite.

I always thought Williams was an absolute baller in college. To me, he seems to have JR Smith potential as a player off the bench but Williams actually has a brain and wants to improve his game. Williams is pretty much JR Smith with a brain and work ethic.

Grant, he was solid for a late first rounder. I'm happy with him.

Galloway was doing his thing. Similar to last year. 10ppg guy with all around good aspects in his game. Melo also didn't ballhog much this game. There were only 2-3 shots he took that I felt were poor decisions. Rest were reasonable given his skill set.

Thomas had some nice moves yesterday in garbage time.

Porzingis looked really good for a rookie. Got to the line I think 8 or 10 times. I know his shooting otherwise wasn't great but its his first NBA game and he had a real solid game for a guy whose considered a "project" due to his skinny frame and lack of polish on the defensive end.

This team should be a playoff team if we're lucky. I'll say 47-35 based on what I saw today.

Knicks won their season opener by 25 points Wednesday.
The last time they did that, New York went on to win it all.

A good start. Nothing I didn't expect, as I haven't missed any summer or pre season action. Had Giannis, Parker and Mayo played the outcome would have been quite different, but in Knick's defense Melo had a sub-par outing.

The real test will be tonight's home opener. Hang an L on Atlanta and I'll be smiling all weekend.

I still want Grant starting over Caldy, but I'm willing to wait - :D

Just like Knicks fans keep talking about the title they had in 1970 and 1973 when they were still not born in this world at all?
