Yeah.

Im sure as soon as they get Tyreke Evans back and he has a few weeks to warm up to the new system, they'll be right there on the contender shortlist.

Hey, they're playing bad that's all that needs to be said. The above just sounds like excuses, especially considering who Portland has lost. They don't seem to be playing with excuses.

They have a truly horribly constructed team around Davis outside of the coach...Gentry will be great imo.

They've been making terrible mistakes since the Paul trade and just lucked into Davis.

They'll be fine in terms of being a playoff team or playoff contender because Davis is elite and they'll get healthier, but this team has a low ceiling imo and won't look remotely the same down the road.

And that is a shame because they could have been loaded with talent if they didn't make so many dumb decisions.
