Different sports, similar pedigrees

Which pair are you more impressed with?

Brady Belichick.

Brady's top guys have come and gone while Duncan still has Parker and Manu. (Even though they're on the decline)

You can't be wrong with either one though.

Can't go wrong with either one, honestly.

Brady/Belichick

Even when the Pats were complete ass on paper, they were still competitive.

When have the Spurs ever been ass on paper? Not in the last two decades or so.

Duncan/Popovich. They had consistent dominance through 3 decades.

Takes nothing away from Brady/Belichick, though, who have been great for a long time as well.

Not that I disagree with your pick, but listing Parker as a reason why it's not Pop/Duncan is a little odd. He's been a net negative for the past year so it's actually a testament to Duncan/Pop that they can still win games with him playing.

Bill would have traded or benched his ass a long time ago because he simply has bigger balls than Pop.

Duncan is 21...Brady is 12...coincidence?

Are you an idiot? Yes is the correct answer.

Spurs have remained competitive every single year even when Manu and Parker have declined substantially. Their record is a testament to Popavichs coaching and ability to pick the right talent. Name a year when they weren't competitive? I know this because they pummeled my Suns in their prime Nash-era.

Fcking redneck. :facepalm

My point was the Spurs have always had a solid roster. The patriots have not.

Even when they were 'down' they still had all stars everywhere.

Last season Brady was throwing TD passes to guys nobody has ever even heard of. Matthew Mulligan? Amendola? Dobson?

While I give Pops a lot of credit, the roster for SA has never been 'bad'.

Brady Belichick. You know how hard it is to keep winning in the NFL year in and year out. Most great teams has a windows of 3-4 years at max of being really good. Also, with free agency most great players dont stay with the same team for a long period of time. Look at all the great assistants coaches NE has lost in the last 16 years.

When its all said and done, this will be the greatest run in sport history....

Saw Brady is now 36-4 vs divisional opponents.

That's domination. Not 'a solid few years', that is complete domination.

With another Superbowl, Brady will go down as the best QB of all time. Even now, he has an argument.

So no professional sports team ever. Got it.

I'm not aware of any Spurs cheating scandals.

Diaw was cut by the worst team in nba history before becoming one of the best bench players in the league. Patty mills was on his way out of the league. Same for danny green.

its a testament to pop's coaching, and duncan's leadership that they can turn castoffs into championship level role players.

That's a big assumption to make.

That's a big assumption to make.

The only thing that the Patriots have actually been caught of doing is taping the other sidelines, which Bill didn't know about; and he know about more rules than most NFL officials.

The Deflating balls thing is really just an act hoping to get the Pats punished. There's no real evidence that they ever cheated.
