Hopefully SVG doesn't put Jennings in the starting lineup

I have them winning 37 games this season. There's a plethora of good teams that they haven't faced, don't get too excited.

And there's a plethora of bad teams they haven't faced too.

They've beaten 3 legit teams and they had a great record last year without Smith and before they started tanking.

SVG wins games. Plain and simple.

Oh lord

You'd think people would have learned with the heat last year and the sixers from a couple years ago to not overhype a team after 3 games

Except, the Pistons were 13-4 last year after they got rid of Smith and before BJ went down (then they started tanking).

So that's 16-4 when the SVG Pistons have fielded a competitive roster without that cancer Smith. Much more than the Heat/Sixers sample size.

They'll be close and I want to say the Knicks will make it too. Would be nice if the Craptors fell out of contention.

Atlanta is 2-1
Utah is 1-1
Chicago is 2-1

The teams Detroit has beaten are undefeated against teams other than Detroit.

That said, they played .500 ball after releasing Josh Smith last year (27-27 I think). Granted, one must consider a lot of factors with that run, such as Jennings playing out of his mind. But then again, Jennings tore his Achilles in January and the team still found a way to finish out the year in a reputable fashion.

Since then, they've shored up a lot of their weaknesses with the addition of guys like Marcus Morris and Stanley Johnson. Even Ersan Ilyasova has a place, considering Stan Van Gundy's offense.

Because of that, I felt like they were in the running for a playoff spot before the season, but perhaps a touch more so now.

SVG is a good coach and they got rid of all their negative players, Detroit is finally looking good again.

Its the East though, any team making the playoffs isn't really a surprise

If everything goes well ~47 wins and a 5-6 seed would be in order; on the other hand they could have some injuries and completely fall apart.

It's the east.

Of course they'll make the playoffs.
