Mavs at home, Nuggets at home, at Nets, and at Knicks are their next 4 games...that's a guaransheed 4 straight wins. Kobe's just getting his rhythm back and he's about to start filling it up; he's already averaging 26 a game per 36.

Haters about to get absolutely ROCKED.

Game on.

If they go 1-3 or 0-4 will you leave?

The Lakers won't win 4 straight games all year.

To go where? Out to eat or something? Yeah, I guess.

Kobe is done. Its best that he come off the bench and mentor/play through the young players.

Their struggles start and end on the defensive side.

He's better than prime Harden over their first two games.

Is Harden done?

Only if they start playing defense.

Funny part is that Kobe hasn't even been a problem on that end this year and we're still getting murked. Hibbert is basically the only player that gives effort on that end...

Difference is Kobe was inconsistent and a shell of himself last year too, before he sat out the rest of the season.

Kobe looks feeble and his shot selection is worse than EVER. Dude just chucks threes.

Like I said though, the Lakers problems begin on the defensive end. They look worse than the 80s Nuggets. :oldlol:

Like I said though, the Lakers problems are bigger than that. Their defense is absolute TRASH.

He was playing with a torn rotator cuff last year

Harden also chucks 3s, dude shot 1-10 from deep last game

Wait. You guys don't seriously think Kobe is better than Harden, right?

Playing Kobe at the 3 spot is dumb as hell too

Teams blow us out when they see the frontcourt line up of Kobe Kelly bass

Also we'll lose at least 2 of those games

Could literally lose all 4 games. :lol

Mavs will clown them, Nuggets might lose, Nets will clown them and Knicks will win.

I could realistically see them losing all 4. They may steal one. Mudiay v. Russell should be interesting. I agree Kobe needs to tone it down and mentor the young guys. He's probably still a capable defender if he only concentrates on that. Kobe should facilitate and defend..he'll get his points.

they will be lucky to win a couple. I can't see them winning more than 15 this season.

I thought this thread was about Kobe deciding to shoot less, but nope.

Coming off the bench is a little drastic but I definitely agree with the rest of your statement. I'd like to see Kobe lower his shot attempts, commit more to defense and help draw in opposing defenses to give the guys easier looks. I'm happy Kobe has publically acknowledged the fact that it's in the team's best interest for him to help the young fellas develop...I think he'll commit to that promise now.

I actually expected Kobe to be more of a playmaker this year ala late '13, but he's been coming out guns blazing instead. We're still in the season's infancy though, i'm sure we'll see some adjustments.
