Over 3 games, he is averaging 16/3/3 on 23mpg, 50% from the field, and 27% from 3. This guy alone would make push teams like the Heat over the edge into true contender.

But having no bias from others, I'm curious what you guys think about him. I honestly think he is better than Teague, but I doubt Teague would like sitting on the bench.

Also, what teams could use Schroder the most?

I think Philly, Brooklyn, and Utah would all love Shroder.

I think his ceiling is a multiple-time (3x?) All Star. I think he can/will be better than Teague. I'm a pretty big fan of his but I don't think he's capable of being a superstar.

Needs to be a more consistent shooter and defender.

What? Schroder beens good for a while and consistent at that. Linsanity only lasted like 8-10 games.

You can't compare how he plays to anyone in the league, he's too unique. I think he has multiple years of being an allstar.

Haven't seen him this year, but in the playoffs against cavs, he wasn't good. His shot sucked and he didn't do a good job running their offense.

Even if Linsanity itself was short, Lin has had multiple 30+ games in his career, spanning several years.


Schroder is a really nice player though. I think his ceiling is almost-peak-Rondo.

Schroder is a good passer, but he looks to score more than pass. Rondo is a pass first PG.

Schroder isn't a good rebounder, either.

Schroder plays great defense like Rondo, but thats it. Schroder also has a WAY better shot and can shoot FTs.

Name their similarities.

I watch almost every Hawks game, you do not. And Dennis is my favorite player. He plays nothing like rondo at all. He's looking to score every time he touches the ball. He's generally not looking to pass. He's way faster than rondo, a much better finisher, a much better jump shot, a worse passer. He's a good defender but hard to say "he plays defense like rondo" because that's a really weird comparison. He plays nothing like rondo at all

he might be faster now, but before Rondo's injury he was the fastest player in the league hands down. Not even a question. And btw Rondo is having another beast game today, hes back to his old form, so pls stop with this nonsense that Schroder is anywhere near as good as him.
