Curry was MVP of the league and won the championship.

Westbrook almost made the playoffs and got a lot of triple doubles on low percentages.

Westbrook is better.

When a guy emerges so suddenly like this, people often hesitate to put him as the best, or up there, or are still unsure, etc. Happened to Rose and Nash who shot up quickly, and it has now happened to Curry.

I was a firm believer that Durant was the best player in the league since 2 seasons ago, but he didn't really play last season, and after seeing Curry continue to back this up... He may have well been the best player in the league last year.
So much for Bron being proven and all that crap, Curry simply is harder to stop at this point. I still think Durant is there with him though. Him and Curry are the two best in the league at the moment with Bron and Westbrook just off the pace.

Why are you so against Curry? :oldlol:

You're so ingrained in your opinion that you're unable to change your views. He clearly is something special.

Just because he looks like a little kid, doesn't take away from the amazing things he does on the court.

Let me know when Durant can bring the ball up the court and create his own shot and initiate the offense like Curry can.

I bet if Curry gets 50 shots in a game, he can easily score 100 points.

He might even do it at 45 shots.

I've legit seen the light. He is a truly special player. He is IMO, now that Bron is hurt, is the best player in the league.

I don't understand how my post put down Curry. shaq distorted defenses from inside and Currys presence is doing something similar from 3 point range. Guy is having a Shaq-like influence on the game.

Easily the best player today and one of most exciting to watch live on tv. He makes it look so easy out there.

Best player rankings since the start of the season:

1. Curry
2. Westbrook
3. Durant
4. Lebron

Durant is also a better scorer, better shooter from mid-range (better 2P shooter in general), more versatile scorer...

He's also actually carried teams. Durant deserves so much better than the disrespect he's getting right now, player stans are ****ing scum. Durant's 2014 > any full season of Curry's.

Durant is slightly better at isolation scoring.

Curry is way better at creating the offense for the entire team.

Durant can't take the ball up the court and create his own shot or initiate the team's offense like Curry can.

Get back to me when Kevin Durant can take a team of defensive minded role players and lead them to an elite offense.

More than slightly better.

Because Curry is a point guard.

Because Durant isn't a point guard. He can create his own shot quite well though.

Get back to me when Curry can carry a roster to 59 wins while missing his second option for half of the season, with Kendrick Perkins/Thabo Sefalosha quality players starting 60+ games each, and with a shitty coach. :confusedshru

I don't get this new gimmick of yours, you support KD/the Thunder on several accounts and now you've created accounts to do the opposite? Seems a little crazy.

Durant only carries his team to a certain degree then he'll defer to Westbrook just like he always does in the playoffs. At 6'11", he doesn't even try to help his frontcourt either, look at how Bosh destroyed the OKC frontline in the 2012 Finals.

Curry has carried the Warriors just as much as Durant has. And he doesn't defer to anybody, he's been the constant #1 scorer/leader on his team. Don't let that biased Final MVP voting say otherwise.

He played half of 2014 without Westbrook and played out of his mind...Serge Ibaka was his second option. Someone posted his statline in another thread, iirc it was something like 37 ppg on 55/45/90.

Curry had a better roster last season than KD has ever had, plus a good coaching staff. Curry's 2015 roster >>> Durant's 2014 roster.

every thunder team from 2012 to now has been more talented than the 2015 warriors. they've underachieved mostly because of injuries and brooks.

Durant better scorer. Better player.
Curry better shooter. More impact at his position(PG) than Durant is at his(SF) though.

I've been more impressed by Curry in the playoffs also, just my observation. But I'll still give it Durant as the better player.

If anything Curry is more underrated than Durant being disrespected. Durant's beloved through out his career.

Historically, Curry's numbers and team wins were Finals MVP shoe-in. But sports writers are so obsessed with LeBron that they're voting for the guy who can contain him the best now.

Just like Leonard edging over Duncan eventhough Leonard was awful in the first 2 games, while Duncan didn't have a single bad game.

What do you mean to be fair to LeBron? The whole FMVP voting panel voted based on him. His performance was well-received. Got an ESPY for best champion performance even though he didn't win the championship.

If anything fans and media alike weren't fair to Curry, calling him a rolepayer and shit.
