Now that's a f*cking crime. :oldlol:

How has he not been re-extended yet? Guess he's waiting for the cap increase.

Bay Area is expensive too, not sure if he can feed his family.

Mid level exception would be more appropriate IMO

Looking at the history of past players with 0 FMVP votes

Can't he request a buyout? If I were him I'd threaten to leave Golden State if they don't give me a better contract. He is worth 30 million a year. That's what Kobe was getting. Curry probably can't get that much but he is a max player.

This isn't the NFL. You can't restructure contracts in the NBA.

He'll get his Max deal after next season.

That's a long time to wait, considering he's already won an MVP and a championship. He could have been re-extended by the team at any time if they wanted.

What else is he going to say, he will get 30 million when it's due.

Either way the Max deal won't kick in until his current deal expires.

Having it in writing is a lot different than not. Nothing is guaranteed, especially 2 years from now.

Pay that man his money! Maybe he takes a cut to keep the depth of the rotation intact? Good guy Curry FTW!

He's not yet MVP level good when he signed that contract. He'll get the max on his next contract.

Curry was signed for so cheap because he was having chronic ankle injuries during the time of the signing.

What you said was dumb. How can a player get out of contract outside of being waived/player option.

He should get 150/5 :lol

He gets to construct the team how he wants, can't lose that leverage. It's not like last time when he had the ankle injury. He's a proven superstar now, every team will max him out.

He'll be getting 30m per year or somewhere close his next contract. It will be worth it though, since Steph is a guy I can see playing at a high level until 40.

Anyway, he's also making a shitload of money from UA as well.
