Hypothetical: Curry gets some random non serious injury (def not putting this thought out into the universe)/or some weird suspension for an altercation and has to sit for 10 games. Warriors go 1-9 in that stretch against a mix of playoff and non playoff teams.

What does that do regarding your opinion of Curry?

No one has been able to give a good explanation on how a team full of defensive role players ends up being the best offense in the league.

Agreed. Even now Curry is underrated somehow (in comparisons to Lebron or KD). He draws so much more attention than either of those guys on offense.

The Dubs passing works, but without his level of talent + shooting + dribbling + floor space created they are at best a slightly below average offense if you tossed any other point guard out there that relies heavily on screen/roll (like Cp3) to dictate an offense. He is the only NON pick and roll point guard in the league that can score at will (saying he doesn't use primarily pick and rolls on offense, but rather a mix of dribbling, picks, off ball screens and hockey assisting).

Steve Nash was the best pick and roll player ever.
CP3 is the 2nd best (that I've seen).

Curry is not in either of their classes in the pick and roll, but his offensive style is something new and unstoppable that we've never seen (and thus most of us don't understand).

Whoever said he has Shaq's levels of impact (offensively) is right. He draws that much attention out there if not more.

Nothing good can ever come from going 1-9

warriors + curry = best team in the nba

warriors without curry = 1-9 record? ? ? (doubt they would do that poorly without him; they got so much firepower)

but i think that hypothetical situation would pretty much cement his MVP position...

ever notice how many times the warriors were down 15 points when Curry's shots werent falling last year? they go as far as he goes, and apparently that's the finals.

If by "ever" you mean "since 2005," then you have an argument.

John Stockton is unquestionably the best PnR player ever. There is no cogent argument to the contrary.

Was wondering how many posts it would take for someone to say this, agreed

Curry is way better than Nash or Stockton ever was.

it all starts with curry, but klay, draymond, iggy, even bogut help a ton on offense, keeping the ball moving, and spacing the floor.

draymond didnt get paid just because he can play defense.
