12-54 overall from the field and 3-32 from 3 :biggums: :biggums: :biggums:

WTF IS IT?!?!?! Lil B curse? Kardashian curse? Adidas Curse? Or is he just on a terrible cold streak?

The thing so crazy to be about Harden is when he struggles, he struggles worse than anyone I've ever seen with his shooting. He's making Kobe's 3pt woes look like a marvel. Treacherous, treacherous shooting.

He's just not that good of a player.

Teams have worked out his tendencies and his unwillingness to work hard off the ball.

Probably combo cold streak and struggling to adjust to playing with a ball dominant backcourt player again.

He was probably partying too much in the off season

He got a shout out from Drake in one of the hottest songs of the spring, was chilling with Kanye, Khloe, and got a ton of money from adidas

He forgot what brought him here in the first place

Hard work

It's called law of averages man. He'll have 3 great games to balance this out and bump his averages up.

People overreact way too much to what happens early in the season. None of this shit is gonna continue in the future.

Harden won't continue to shoot this badly.

Curry will have a few mediocre/bad games and his numbers will come down to earth.

Westbrook's numbers will come down to earth.

Griffin's numbers will come down to earth.

This happens every season.

It's only been 3 games, calm down.

For those who are interested, Harden is shooting 3/31 on 3's this year whereas Dwyane Wade is shooting 3/5 on 3's this year

He's not good. And I mean that literally, as in, he's been a below average player so far. Not even trolling.

Rockets need to blow it up. Game over. Conference has Curry/Thompson/Draymond/Iggy going for 65+ again, Durant and Westbrook on a mission, CP3 and Blake with a deep ass cast around them, Spurs with 2 franchise level talents in Kawhi/Aldridge to take over. Shit's over for the Rockets. They have zero shot at making it out of the west. It's over.

Moreyball just ain't working, Rox franchise needs a makeover from the top down. the idea that brokeback Howard and Harden was the new shaq and kobe just shows a GM completely out of touch with actual basketball

You can make jokes about it all you like, but the track record is there...

The Kardashians destroy the lives of men. They even turned one man into a woman.

I hear Harden has a small package and having a man in a coma steal your girl just makes it that much worse.

Once Harden shoots bad at the start, it stays the rest of the game with him. No going back.

Harden is built like Melo. When things go bad he checks out or pretends not to care. In that way he's very different than Wade or Kobe (note Kobe has had checking out moments too but not because he fears the big moment)

I keep saying it and I'll say it again, he has ZERO in-between game and he's terrible off the ball. I've never seen a player move less without the ball. I don't get how McHale doesn't ride his ass about that, especially since he played along side arguably the best off-ball player ever.

Where's the post game? Where's the back-door cuts? Where's the midrange jumper? Where's the runners/floaters/baby hooks? Another thing is I'm not sure I've ever seen him use the glass off the angle. Even with many deficiencies he's still a very good player (which is a testament to his talent) but he needs to work on adding dimensions to his game.

It's funny because I'm a Heat fan and was obviously happy he struggled tonight, but part of me as a pure basketball fan was frustrated watching him.

I agree 100%. That's why I always felt that's why come playoffs he always struggles. Defenses tighten up, calls are harder to come by, and teams do their homework. He definitely needs variability in his game if he really wants to take the next step.

Slow start. Hes gonna be in the hall of fame barring injury. Its safe to say he didnt forget how to shoot. By the end of the year hes doing 24-29 a game with solid shooting numbers. Players occasionally go from damn near MVP to just...good...but rarely without serious injury.

Too much talking, not enough practice. While he was crying about not getting MVP, Curry was in the gym.

I'm sure he'll pull it together as the season progresses... but HCA advantage is decided by a few games out West, and I don't like the Rockets (or any teams) chances of making it out of the West without HCA.

Lawson and Harden both need the ball in their hands, Beverly is the perfect PG for Harden.

Lawson and harden looked pretty good in the second half. Harden was telling Lawson to be aggressive and that helped Ty. Ty was playing to passive.

Dwight was there for the Denver and the Warriors game. He wasn't the real factor. The real factor was Lawson and Harden finally clicking as a duo. The potential with those two is off the charts

He was suspended that's right. Nontheless the key is getting Lawson going. when Lawson is aggressive and getting people good looks in the open court the Rockets offense runs well.

Dwight faced a one game suspension with Denver and in foul trouble vs GS

Still out of shape, like most of the Houston Rockets team.

They play 0 good quarter vs Denver, 1 good quarter vs GS, 2 excellent quarters vs Miami and 3 good quarters vs the Thunders.

They getting there, but we wont see the Rockets at full strength probably in like the next 20 games.

This first 3 game where basically preseason for them.

ronnymac
11-03-2015, 02:04 AM
The Denver and the Miami collapse fiasco was not an aberration because there are many issues to be resolved. Defense and offense in particular has yet to fully click so maybe the disrupted preseason is an issue so we'll see.

Tonight the second half was great and heck even the 1st half wasn't bad either it was just the Thunder hitting everything that got them the lead.
