B-b-but modern defenses are so advanced. Individuals can't put up great stats with the blitzing and zone schemes that defensive coordinators install into the game plans.

Hopefully Curry won't have to score so much and we can get a balanced effort from other team mates. He had to compensate because we were down going into the half and the second unit wasn't getting it done. Warriors rely on the second unit to hold the lead so Curry can rest in the 4th. Thank God he is able to do what he does but I don't want our team to be reliant on that night in and night out. It's a long season.

Show me a 3 game stretch of Wilt's where he posted a 52.4 PER with a 76 TS%.

Since Wilt averaged a 31.7 PER over 3 consecutive seasons without blocks and steals being recorded, I'm going to guess there was a three game stretch where his PER was also off the charts and he shot a high FG percentage.

I'll give credit to Curry though. Those two stats are ungodly. I'd like to know if that combination has been equalled before. Wilt's FT% and lack of 3 pointers probably meant he didn't get that high of TS%, but I'll leave that up to Cavs, Laz or fplii. It is only three games, so maybe?

What about Kobe, Lebron, Shaq or Jordan over three games? Maybe even West in one of his playoff series. I'm sure there has been a number of crazy three game stretches. Durant and Bird would have great TS% over various stretches.

When you score 100 b/c your teammates are purposely fouling the other team in order to stop the clock...it's not as impressive as the raw number would suggest. It stops being basketball at that point.

Wrong. Add up his blocked shots and the fact that he shot very well from the line in those specific games (80%+), thus covering his only weak spot and his PER is easily at Curry's range.

So you're saying Curry's 52 PER in 3 games is better than any other stretch ever? They can't even properly calculate Wilt's stats because blocks and steals weren't recorded.

I am sure Jordan, Lebron, Durant, etc all have 3 game stretches with insanely high PER as well.

Funny how you claim this, as if you're not guessing yourself. :lol Wilt posted a PER of close to 32 while posting 50 ppg on 51% FG and 61% FT. PER is very dependent on scoring (thus favoring Curry, who has 3 pointers available and doesn't play 48 mpg, but let's pretend we ignore all this) and you think increasing Wilt's scoring by 50%, his FG's by several percentage points and his FT's by 20 percentage points altogether isn't going to bring Wilt's PER at Curry's range, even without blocks? Ok...
