Amazing game though the main thing I will remember from that series is Greg Popovich going full retard and taking Duncan out like 5 times at the end of... (I think it was G6?) when it was beyond obvious that they needed his rebounding & size.
That little blunder cost SA the series.

Can't believe we won that series.

I really thought we had no shot with like 30 seconds left in game 6. I remember my friend walked into my place talking shit, and I was like "whatever", then we both proceeded to watch the epic come back.

Good times. We probably won't see a title in a while unless we sign a legit star like Durant next season.

Yea that Game 6 was wierd, Heat were down 12 going into the 4th, everyone wrote them off, even the announcers, everyone expected the Spurs to win, up 3-2 with a 12 point 4th quarter lead

LeBron literally had to play like a combination of Jerry West and Magic Johnson just for the Heat to have a chance.

Making a 3 = Being MJ? :lol

You're trolling is weak

By that Logic Pau Gasol was Prime Shaq in 2009-2010, and Prime Shaq was the entire Dream team from 2000-2002

Thats without including Artest saving Kobe with the bail-out 3 in 2010

I remember Game 6. Heat fans already left the building before Chris Bosh and Ray Allen saved the leftover of Lebrons legacy :lol Most loyal fans ever :facepalm

Unfortunately they couldn't save him in the next 2 finals :(

Except... LeBron didnt miss 18/24 shots that game :lol

And... he hit the clutch 3 right before Ray Allen's (which everyone forgets)

:lol

Face it, Ray Allen was meaningless in that series, scored 0 points in Game 7

wow nobody was in the arena. everyone clearly left, just like E!SPN was screaming and shouting. Such a shame that nobody got to see one of the clutchest shots of all time.

sarcasm btw

Yea cause courtside seats = total representation of the arena :facepalm

Face it your fanbase is pathetic, bunch of bandwagoners who run when things don't go their way, hence cHeat fans. I'm glad they locked you guys out after the game went into OT

lol, blatant trolling but i'll bite.

That's the lower bowl, already extremely expensive, especially so in a potential elimination game of the Finals. These seats are most likely to be the ones to be bought by the wealthy who have less of a connection and passion for sports as the ones in the nosebleeds or whatever. This is a phenomenon happening not just in basketball, but in a lot of sports these days...Ask any fan of the Premier League or the other leagues around the world where big money has gotten involved and priced out many of their most loyal. The Emirates Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Allianz Arena are basically quiet as a monastery, as we see the old standing sections get removed, the old loyal but usually drunk and violent working class fans getting phased out with a family friendly atmosphere, etc.

So if THAT section is sticking around for the final shot, the most plastic and least emotionally invested out of all the fans in the building...You really think that the average joes that probably broke the bank to go there in the first place would clear out? **** off and use your head. Even Simmons begrudgingly started giving Miami fans credit toward the end of his time at ESPN.

But I don't respect players who don't command a double.. and Lebron can't shoot well at high volume, so he doesn't require a double-team.

The 2015 playoffs were Lebron's first high volume playoffs and we saw what happened when the high volume forced him to stray from his normal diet of 3-pointers and layups - unfortunately, Lebron's efficiency is poor at the additional midrange and isolations required of high volume shooting, so he can't shoot well at high volume or require a double-team to PREVENT high volume..

At 39%, it benefited the Warriors every time he shot, so they encouraged his high volume by not double-teaming - they only double-teamed him 18 times in the entire Finals.. Compare that to MJ, where his high efficiency at high volume caused teams to double-team him 10+ times in a single quarter, as standard (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=386210) - teams couldn't afford high volume from Jordan, since it was accompanied by high efficiency too..

But the real holy grail of basketball skill is far greater than controlling pace with high volume like Lebron, or adding good efficiency to the high volume like MJ.. The real holy grail of basketball skill is good efficiency at high volume while winning championships because the high volume must be achieved within the team concept - the high volume must be achieved without diminishing teammates' statistics so the team can reach it's ceiling and be a championship team..

The only players that reached the holy grail of basketball skill by achieving high volume at high efficiency while winning a championship (25+ shot attempts on 45%+ during the playoffs) were MJ (1992, 1993, 1997, and 1998) and Hakeem (1995).. As you can see, midrange is the key to goat-level skill.
