View Full Version : Is there another team in the NBA as dependent on one player as the Rockets?

Harden shoots like shit in the first 3 games and they get blown the **** out. He drops 37 last night and they narrowly beat OKC. :biggums:

Moreyball and that gimmicky 3 happy offense with zero ball movement will continue to get exposed in the playoffs. I suspect Harden would go up another level like Steph did under a different coaching staff, McHale is holding him back.

I agree. You see the loaded supporting cast Duncan has and then you see Kobe surrounded by low IQ scrubs that can't defend. Hell, the reason he tore his Achilles in the first place was because of his atrocious supporting cast that year outside Dwight.

Sad to see him go out this way. :facepalm

its not straight dependency

its codependency

james harden wants the ball in his hands

and the coach has decided to let him have it whenever he wants

the rest of the team puts up with it and makes themselves effective in this dumb one dimensional system

and they constantly play much harder than harden ever has

but note its only a dependency on the offensive end of the floor. on the defense, he slacks off and lets his teammates do the dirty work. it just so happens ronnie brewer, trevor ariza, terrence jones, patrick beverly, clint capela are willing to do the dirty work.

dwight howard has disappointed us once again. his extensive arsenal of turning over his left shoulder and shooting baby hook bricks is not worth posting him up against a single starting center in the league.

he needs to play deandre jordan ball and find open space where he can get the ball and make a play. he is incapable of surmounting the slightest pressure defense.

but to speak highly of dwight for just a minute... at least he tries on defense

You are right with alot of things but wrong about the player. Dwight is the difference.

Cavs right now with Kevin Love, at least until Kyrie gets back

Yet they finished 2nd in the West despite him missing 40+ games. :biggums:

Houston go as far as Harden takes them. He plays below average and there's a 90% of them losing.

OKC - Kevin Durant

top title contender with him. fringe playoff team without him.

And again

43/13 needed to beat the DMC less Kings by 6. :biggums:

46 points and they only beat the Chris Paul less Clippers by 4. :biggums:

Harden has an average game and they lose to the Nets at home. :lol
