How many rings in a row? I say at least 5, with a good chance of 6.

Why Stop at 6 Why not 12 surpassing Russell?

6 in a row honestly. Not a knock on Kobes skill but Curry would get along better with Shaq

Easily 6, Curry would of roasted Prince and Billups... Curry is a much better distributor and will spread the floor much better for Shaq. Curry would also be more likely to win FMVP as we all know Kobe couldn't

This is what I'm thinking as well. The only thing that could have stopped prime Shaq and current Steph would be boredom.
Plus Curry wouldn't have Kobe's ego issues, meaning there is no way he sabotages the 2004 Finals.

Agreed, there would of been no Curry vs Shaq off court issues, no crying over Vanessa and raping issues. There would have been a little girl in Colorado now not suffering from PTSD if Curry was on LA in the 00's

:applause: Would have been a true 1a/1b situation, not the one Kobe stans talk about in which Shaq averaged 38 ppg while Kobe averaged 15 ppg.
Curry and Shaq probably split the FMVPs right down the middle.

Not sure if Curry could match Shaq's 40/20 ridiculous usual final numbers.

rs MVP's for sure.

for the topic... id say 5 rings in row IMO

they would honestly win 12 in a row. Curry would go down as the GOAT with 8 FMVPs in a row. Shaq with the first 4 FMVPs.

Curry career average: 28-4-12, 56%FG, 48% 3pointFG
Playoff average: 34-5-15, 54%FG, 46% 3pointFG

GOAT player, not even close.

3peat Kobe was very dominant.
Pretty much equal with Shaq.
I don't think Steph could replace him.

Playoff stats
---
00 Kobe : 21 / 4.6-apg on 52%TS
02 Kobe : 26 / 4.4-apg on 49%TS (pre-finals)

Steph ain't capable of those sort of numbers.

dat agenda

leaves out 01, doesn't include the 02 finals in Kobe's stats (27 ppg on 50%)

Kobe led the league in 4th quarter playoff scoring in 01 and 02, won 2 rings and made three straight finals without Shaq

undoubtedly proved that Shaq needed Kobe more than Kobe needed Shaq.. Shaq played with Penny, Wade, Lebron and still couldn't win more than Kobe did with Pau Gasol :oldlol: :oldlol:

Kobe = 2FMVP without Shaq

Shaq = 0 FMVP without Kobe

Kobe = 3 finals without Shaq

Shaq = 2 finals without Kobe

Kobe = 2 rings without Shaq

Shaq = 1 ring without Kobe

Kobe = 1 MVP without Shaq

Shaq = 0 MVP without Kobe

stay mad
