Everyone who watched the series and payed attention to momentum swings knows Iggy was the most valuable guy
Without him the Warriors accomplish the biggest team choke since the 2004 Lakers (Thanks, Kobe)

These arguments are so terrible. The Warriors don't even come close to winning without Curry. They may have still ended up winning the series without Iggy. Just because he was the momentum changer doesn't mean that was the only way they would've changed the momentum. On the other hand, take Curry off the team and they would've gotten swept by a depleted Cavs team. Its literally the worst FMVP selection in possibly history.

The Bald One was willing to take a L in the finals rather than give FMVP to Wade. Bet he regrets it now that he is 2/6... :lol

Do the Warriors have more chance of winning the finals without Iguodala or without Curry?

In the Cavs series, without Curry...
It wasn't until Iguodala started and locked on Bron, that the Warriors had a chance
Game 1-3 - GS was throwing everyone at LBJ defensively

The entire point of FMVP is to be the most impactful. I'm not getting into this again.
Wade had two players putting up Allstar numbers against an inferior team. He had the opportunity to win.

His personal stats where good, but 39% overall shooting on 32 shot attempts doesn't help your team win at all.

Finals MVP doesn't mean much. Pierce won it over KG. Parker won it over Duncan. Iggy won it over Curry. It's pretty much just a media award now. They should rename the award to the "trending on Twitter" award.

One of the worst Finals MVP snubs I've ever seen, and it evinces to me that mid-series narratives--as it unfolded for Kawhi Leonard in the 2014 Finals, which was far more deserved--remains he most decisive to the eventual outcome of it. The media causally synthesized Iggy's insertion into the starting lineup with the series turnaround in favor of GSW, and they surmised that he was the most impactful reason as to why.
All rational assessors, however, know that Curry was indisputably the leader of the championship squad and thus will evaluate his legacy accordingly--even if it was not reflected by the Bill O'Russell hardware.

Iggy deserved it and glad he got it. It would have been more of a snub to give it to Curry.
Curry choked, if he played anything like his regular season self, GSW would've swept the Cavs, and then he would have a FMVP.
End of discussion.

Not really. Iggy was invaluable to them in that series. This thread is just reacting to the fact that Curry is off to a scorching hot start this season, which doesn't really matter when deciding a FMVP does it?
