Shaq's 2002 finals ;

%34 pts of his team , %27 rib , %16 ast , %7 stl , %40 blk

Duncan's 2003 finals ;

%27 pts , %37 rib , %29 ast , %13 stl , %54 blk

Shaq just better scorer , total impacts goes to Duncan.

Same team but with an extra year, playoffs and Finals experience. Lets tell the WHOLE truth.

Yes, I did this thread before. In their primes, in their career's, in their playoff matchups, it's rare that five tool players, 7 footers, great on both sides of the ball, come up as even as these two. And with the large sample, 50 games between them. The real interesting thing is that they guarded each other.

The whole truth... one of the most notoriously stupid and backward organizations in the sport vs one of the best. Minny didn't have one good contract outside of KG's, one good draft pick, one great coach, one real good supporting player to KG, lost numerous draft picks in obtaining a bench player that didn't really even compliment KG, in his best position was the one KG played, AND he was that good! When one Minny center showed some promise playing next to KG, SA toke him away in the free agent market, without Minny getting anything in return. While that center was in his prime in SA he did play better before his prime with KG.

SA was the best organization, with the best recruiting ream probably ever. They had way more structure and the best player development in the league. Had the best contracts in the league. Arguably the best coach ever. Great supporting cast.
