View Full Version : Gallinari put the final nail in Kobe's coffin.

:oldlol: Every time he saw Kobe across from him he knew it was a bucket. Waving off screens and shit. Completely cooked Kobe down the stretch. Might be the worst defensive player in the league and will continue to get lit up by wings every single night.

At this point, he has to hang it up. It's just embarrassing watching him play right now.

Nothing salty here.

Won the series.

Gallinari's fault.

Right now, he hurts the team more than helps it. His D is unbelievably horrible and half the shots he takes aren't within the flow. His negatives outweigh the positives. He just doesn't have the legs to keep up at the highest level.

Kobe is getting ROASTED on my local radio station right now. :oldlol:
They are saying that Jason Williams in the rec league looks better than Kobe in the NBA right now. Also mentioned how sad it is that Kobe has allowed it to get to the point where people are making fun of him. :lol
For the sake of Kobe's legacy he should fake a season ending injury as soon as possible

He's been done since 2013. His fans just refused to accept it, but now they can no longer deny the truth. All the Kobe stans are having mega meltdowns and getting themselves banned. What a sad way for Kobe and his stans to go out. I'm glad my favorite player has some common sense, and will never allow himself or his fans to become the punchline that Kobe has become.

This. I've never seen anything like it. The behaviour of Kobe stans the past couple of weeks is nothing short of hillarious. They're all on suicide watch. Jabbar, their leader, has officially turned and the rest are just lost without him:lol

When he tore his Achilles is when he should have just retired. I admire the fact that he tried to come back last season but sustaining another season ending injury should have shown him the door.

This is like Ali boxing far too long taking beatings late into his career.

Yeah, it's not cool seeing an all time great like Kobe trying to play with all that mileage and wear and tear on his body. He probably should have retired two years ago, but athletes like him with that Old School mentality never know when to quit. It ain't just Kobe. Guys like Garnett and Pierce have been in the league as long as Kobe, but don't know when to hang 'em up. Duncan would be in the same boat if the Spurs hadn't surrounded him with good young/younger players.

There is a HUGE difference in a guy like Duncan taking a lesser role and being very good at it and Kobe just being bad. Pierce and KG both are focused on smaller roles as well. There's something truly great seeing all time great players find ways to keep being valuable players and changing their games late in their careers. Kobe is just done at being able to play at the NBA level. He's mid 40's Kareem playing over seas level at this point, only he's still in the NBA.

A HUGE difference here man, HUGE!

Duncan and Pierce last year were two of the most enjoyable players to watch play btw! They aren't the crap that ESPN puts on sport center. They're more an art house passion project for basketball fans, but for those who love to see basketball played like chess....

Kobe could still stay relevant if he would just agree to be a role player instead of trying to be the superstar he isn't anymore.

he still got game. just gotta use that on the opposing benches instead of trying to be a starter.

he isn't starter quality anymore.

Kobe will be relevant for as long as he plays. Unfortunately, it's for all the wrong reasons right now.

He didn't want injury to force his retirement. He wanted to prove everyone wrong.

Nice attempt to troll doe.For the sake of knowledge, do you have the date for that game? Or at least the box score? With that highlight being so famous, it'd be nice to know the other truths of the event.

he still looked decent last year in stretches...yeah he shot bad but he was getting to the rim more and creating plays...nowadays he just sits back and launchs 3s.

he looks done sad to say but scott's gameplan isn't helping him...he needs to get inside and post up. would open up the floor for the young'ns.

he doesn't have the lift to be effective with his post up moves...essentially fade-aways. it's going to be this sight continuously, IMO:

Second it's gone you turn into the worst player in the league.

They are both utterly abysmal. There is no way to sugarcoat it. His D is non-existent. He simply doesn't have the legs to keep up with the young legs. Galli was abusing him. When Galli looks like AI in terms of quickness, you know you got issues.

And on offense, half of his shots are bad/forced shots.

The question is, does Scott have the ball* to bench this guy because he is not starting caliber 2 right now. He is hurting the team.

Pretty much. The team is just an absolute joke. I will be happy if we don't break the all-time record for most losses honestly. :oldlol:

I mean, they're already 0-4 against 4 TERRIBLE teams in Minnesota, Denver, Dallas, and the Queens... with three of those games being at home.

This Laker team may very well end up being the worst team in NBA history.

Right now, anyone is better than Kobe, even Young. Young is at least a player in his prime who can keep up with the young legs from end to end. I would even give Brown a shot at the 3 because that's the position Kobe's been playing all year.

But I KNOW for a FACT this won't happen. The Kobetards would complain like little girls and there would be too much backlash. Kobe will start every game, even if it means he hurts our team.
