I am amazed by how ****ing good this kid is. It's ridiculous he's coming off the bench but think god we have a team option.

I honestly have him as a top 10 PG, but that would be speculation since he doesnt start.

But it's amazing how a top 15 pg is sitting as the 6th man.

Stats:

PPG: 12.8

FG%: 44.3%

3PT%: 31.6%

APG: 3.0

RPG: 2.8

FT: 90%

SPG: 1.2

Those are his general stats from being the 6th man. But say he started?

Per 36:

PPG: 19.5

APG: 4.6

RPG: 3.4

TOPG: 2.2

I'm done saying it. Just give this guy sixth man of the year already.

I know his role dictates for him to score more, but don't you think those assist numbers per 36 are low?

Yes. His role on the team is to score first, pass second. He's literally unstoppable when it comes to driving to the lane. He's arguably the quickest PG with the ball. Probably the quickest PG when it comes to lateral.

His per 36 apg last year is 7.6. I think Schroder just improved his scoring a lot more.

.517 TS%, .067 WS/48, -1.4 Box +/-, Hawks are almost five points better off when he's not on the floor.

How the F do you figure he's a top ten PG in the NBA? Can I see your list.

He's definitely a top 25 pg in the league. No doubt.

He's not a top 15 PG yet. I think he'll def get there. If he was already there, then he'd likely be able to challenge Teague for the starting spot.

I really like his potential though. This guy could be a star in 2 years.

Hawks are usually better because Teague comes back in, lol...

This season:

1. Curry
2. Westbrook
3. Paul
4. Lillard
5. Wall
6. Teague
7. Thomas
8. Lowry
9. Bledsoe
10. Conley

Schroder is better than Conley, I'm sure.

Schroder does challenge Teague, actually.

They always battle each other during practice and even in game.

If Teague goes into his passive mode, coach Bud immediately benches him and when Schroder comes in and puts in work, it motivates Teague to go Teague Time.

Brandon Knight:

17.8 / 4.8 / 5.4 / 1.6 SPG / 2.8 TOPG on 42/34.

I'd say he's better as well.

I'm big on Schroder's potential, probably more than most on ISH, but we'd hear more hype about him snagging that starter's job if he clearly, consistently outplayed Teague. So far we've heard a kinda unclear translation of Schroder indicating he wants a larger role in the future.

Teague gets passive and Schroder plays in a different way- he's change of pace for you guys. It's an absolute luxury to have. He'll make a couple ASGs. Just look out 2 years from now

Why did ya edit out the beginning similarity? I respect if you didnt want it seen though.

I really want Schroder to be Atlanta's star, not anyone elses. I'm sorry, but I know Schroder has the max potential to be a top 5 PG, and Teague has already peaked now.

I mean it wasn't false but I thought it would distract people from discussing Schroder.

Yeah man, I think he has top 5 PG potential. I really do. I think it just won't materialize for a couple more seasons. That's why it's potential at this point. If he was more ready, I feel we'd get more buzz about him taking over the starting spot. Maybe that happens by year's end, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Teague's in prime and likely past peak- he's mid-plateau right now and will probably begin his decline in age 30 season or so. So technically it could work out for you guys that Schroder breaks out as Teague slips or leaves as a FA.
