Duncan will be 40 this year
Parker is already falling off the cliff, hasn't been the same since 2014
Ginobili is 38 and is slowly getting worse.

The Big 3 is falling off the cliff big time

Unless Kawhi Leonard turns into a superstar this season, this team won't sniff the WCF.

Leonard and LMA is the new big 2. The other 3 are a great supporting cast.
I think they have a great shot considering the Thunder aren't looking good.

Warriors vs Clippers at the moment.

OKC with Durant & Westbrook are a dangerous team, but their supporting cast is pretty bad and I question how they will gel together.

BTW Clippers need to move Jamal Crawford before the deadline, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen.

I don't think we'll make it either, but I don't get your reasoning.

Yeah, Parker is done, but Duncan hasn't fallen off a cliff at all - he's making $5 million and he's worth every penny of it three times over.

And Manu? He's been our best player this year - he's absolutely killing it. He sucked last year but not anymore.

The reason I don't think we'll make it is because this isn't a well constructed team. Aldridge and Leonard Iso seems to be the new offense, which hasn't lead to a championship in like a decade. Whenever Tim goes to the bench our defense sucks, because neither LMA, Boris or West can anchor it. We have only a few viable 3 point shooters now and Pop will keep one of them (Patty) on the bench because he will not bench Tony when he's sucking. Aldridge leads the pack of stars who don't get it done in the postseason. Who knows what you've got with new acquisitions (West looks done but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt). Leonard has no legitimate backup and we have too many PFs.

Not to mention, Golden State is flat-out a much better team than us. They have the role players, the depth, the chemistry, and the best player in the world right now.

Ya, ISO b-ball will be their downfall. This team won a title a couple of years back because of the way they moved the ball on offense, not because they were the most talented team. I don't know if LMA will fit into that type of offense, he needs the ball in his hands to fully maximize his worth as an individual player.

^ The Spurs to me are the only team that can possibly beat the Warriors. They have the coaching, big guys and perimeter defenders to bother them.

Yeah, they're old but they don't rely on those guys to the extent that they used to with Leonard's improvement and the addition of Aldridge.

Also let's not forget the trouble GS has historically had in San Antonio. They haven't won there forever. Spurs were also the only team that made them look normal last season beating them in 2/3 meetings.

Will they get there? That's a different story because they don't matchup well with the athleticism of OKC and LAC but if they do, I think they have a good chance of beating the Warriors.

Gotta see how the first part of the season plays out though, still too early to make predictions.

Half of this depends on seeding. Honestly, I believe they are the 2nd or 3rd bets team in the WC.

But with the adjustments they had to make I doubt they are gonna have a fast start.

The only team that can beat the Warriors over 7 games are the Cavs. They can switch on P&R's and not get burned everytime because TT can guard 1's.

Considering how some of the Western Conference powerhouses are struggling with coaching changeovers, the only Spurs' only real threat is the Warriors, who have been reinvigorated by all the detractors downplaying their "lucky" road to the championship; aside from that, what is preventing the Spurs from reaching the same stage they have reached for all of the past-four post-seasons until this one

Only possible way they miss WCF is if they draw GSW 2nd round due to not emphasizing the RS. There are zero other West teams that can beat them in a 7-game series.

I'm sorry but did you just say that? We literally just watched the Clippers take them out last year and only get better in the offseason. The Clippers and Warriors can take the Spurs down whereas I'll take the Spurs over the Rockets, Grizz, and Thunder 9 times out of ten.

no 50 wins, 7th seed at best.

The fact that it is 2015 we are speculating on whether the Spurs run is over says alot about the success of the Franchise.

Back on topic i don't know how many wins or how healthy/ good they will be come may but if I wouldn't want to face them in the first round, experience wins come playoff time.

If KD/Russ go '01 Shaq/Kobe, they might scare GSW/LAC, and against SAS I believe they already have a shot.. would love to see them take out the ****s that are Golden State.

1 GSW
2 LAC
3 SAS
4 OKC

I dont think the Spurs have enough perimeter shooting this year. Danny Green seems to have forgot how to shoot and they seem to miss the Neal, Bellinelli types coming off the bench.
