usually great plays are bursts of awesomeness contained within a single play. but wade has always had a knack for putting together a sequence of great plays to make a totally *ucking 'i just *hit my pants' bad*ss play.

like the:

dribble around pav's back and lobs to shaq
steals the ball, dives outta bounds and throwing perfect lob to kobe
steal the ball in double ot and hit the game winning three at the buzzer

One of the most entertaining guys to watch EVER. I miss that feeling I had in the 08 Olympics where it felt like he was back and anything was possible.

22/4/3/2 on 59%TS and a 27 PER in 30 mpg. That's prime-like per minute production. It's been "quiet" too, meaning he's doing it within the flow of the offense, rarely playing iso-ball or forcing shots.

This Wade (healthy) is still one of the best players in the game. The elephant in the room is always his health, just as it has been for much of his career.

One thing that does deserves a mention is I don't think many people thought he'd still be this good at 34 years old. For years it seemed the prevailing notion was that Wade would be ineffective once he lost elite athletic ability. Wade's skill has always been highly underrated.

The sneakiness, the change of pace ability, the off-ball cut precision, the unselfishness, and the mid-range game. Wade's game is aging gracefully and in a unique manner. He'll be effective for a long time as long as his body holds up. That weight he lost during the off season is paying off so far.

Jordan is without a doubt better.

Obviously, and Kobe's spot is also secure. However, with a few more all-star caliber seasons and at least one more deep playoff run, what I think Wade CAN do is solidify himself as a top 20 player. He has a chance to end up being top 10 all time in playoff points, steals, and top 15 in playoffs assists. That would put him in extremely elite company. Combine that with his all-time great career averages, accolades, and 3 championships, and I think he's firmly in the top 20.

Dude is also setting up Whiteside extremely well within the flow of the offense. He's always had elite passing skills and with Lebron there that part of his game was ignored.

A "fraud' who has career averages of 24/6/5/2/1 on 49% with a 25 PER, a "fraud" who has 23/5/5/2/1 career playoff averages, a "fraud" who is top 20 all time in playoff points, assists, and steals, a "fraud" who is an 11x all-star, 8x all-NBA, 3x all-defense, 3x champion, 1x FMVP, a "fraud" who has 24/5/5/2/2 career finals averages, a "fraud" who is a first ballot HOFer, a "fraud" who at 34 years old is one of only six players in the league to start the season scoring 20+ points in every game, and a "fraud" who currently has a top 10 PER in the league

Yep, total fraud.

Yeah, you're probably right, but it is good to shut him up sometimes. Usually after I ether him he disappears for a while (or switches to another alt). In that regard I'm doing the board a favor.

If that somehow happens, he'd be breathing down Kobe's neck for being the 2nd greatest SG. I'm not saying he'd pass him, but the discussion would get a lot more interesting.

Wade PER has always been high because he could only play so many minutes per game and so many games a season.

Using PER to prove Wade's greatness is a joke.

No, your ignorance is the only thing that's funny. Wade averages over 36 mpg for his career. If you want to criticize his missed games fine, but that's a separate issue. Having a 25+ PER in nearly 30,000 minutes played is outstanding any way you slice it. Next time you might want to do a little research before posting something stupid.

This should be copied and paste everyone tries to dismiss D Wade.
