Spurs versus Pacers?

Remember how stacked that Pacers team was back then? You had Artest who was able to do it all along with Oneal and Reggie Miller. Plus they had a good bench and had just lost the ECF to the Pistons the previous season. Remember how good they looked in beating the Pistons before Ben Wallace snapped out?

The season was way too early to say that, but no, I don't think they could have been the Pistons after they acquired Sheed. Oh wait this was the 2005 season...well either way, I thought that Pacers team was playing beyond themselves at this point. They weren't going to be able to keep it up. Ron Artest for sure was not going to keep up his play.

People forget how much of a beast Jermaine O'Neal was. They went toe to toe with the Pistons in the ECF the year before and they added Stephen Jackson during the offseason. That was our year man...It just wasn't meant to be.
