He closed out the game strong too. His towel waving game was on point.

What the boxscore doesn't contextualize is the fact that the rookie was yanked out of the game while he was on a hot-handed run, thanks to the ingeniously mechanical rotations of Byron Scott. :facepalm He needed a 20-point game or at least a bifunctional performance with a goodplaymaking output to truly hinder the "draft bust" reputation he's built early on.

Boxscore watching idiot. That's right here the kind of guy who pays for ESPN insider and thinks he can talk about games without watching them..

I saw flashes of brilliance for the first time. Yes, he is slow but he showed some suddenness in some of his moves. Hopefully, he was just holding back. This is a great sign. He also threw up a couple of alpha confidence, 28-30 foot 3 pt shots. He just looked more confident and aggressive.

I think he gained a lot of confidence after cooking Mudiay last game

game is starting to slow down for D'Angelo. He's about to bust out

Also, Kobe's baldness is disturbing for some reason.

He looks like a guy who tells me where the light section is at Home Depot.

That's what happens when you draft a guy based on highlights. He played on a team with 2 other ball handlers who ran the point more than him, but he was the best shooter so all eyes were on him. Give him some time and PEDs and the speed, athleticism and eagle eye court vision will come ;)

I remember how slow Curry looked as a rookie, but he could always shoot

If he isn't on some high level PEDs, I will be disappointed.
