Didn't get a chance to watch tonight's game, how did he play? How would you evaluate his performance?

Even though you probably already jizzed your pants twice due to Wade's bad game, he's still averaging 20/5/3 on 46%FG, 56%TS, 25 PER, and I know that has to be eating you up inside. When he bounces back with a strong game Sunday you'll be nowhere to be found. Congratulations on being able to sleep tonight.

Better than James' 8 point finals performance in 2011. That is exactly how I would rate it.

Wade: 9/1/6 on 4/15, 0 turnovers, 30 minutes played
LeBron: 8/9/7 on 3/11, 4 turnovers, 45 minutes played

I watched the game and you could see that Dwayne Wade was struggling all game. As much as I hate to admit on how LeBron's declining athleticism has really exposed his lack of skills, the same thing has happened to Wade. He is a shell of his former self at this point. Paul George was very impressive though.

...lol. Wade is one of the most skilled players in the league and these last couple of seasons are showing that. You are basing your opinion on the first bad game he's had this season and on a back 2 back. You're an idiot.

This is patently false. Wade is and has always been extremely skilled. He hasn't had elite athleticism for several years and he's still been one of the most productive, efficient SG's in the game. He's highly intelligent, crafty, has a great assortment of runners, floaters, baby hooks, he's good in the post, has good footwork, he's a great passer, and he's one of the best off-ball players in the league. He just had a bad game. It happens to the best of 'em.

He was arguably the best SG in the league through his first 5 games averaging 22/4/3/2/1 on 59%TS and a 27 PER. One bad game doesn't change the fact that at nearly 34 years old he's off to a very nice start this season. Even after tonight's rough game he's still at 20/5/3/2/1 on 46%FG, 56%TS, 25 PER, and committing just 2.5 TO's. He'll likely bounce back with a strong game on Sunday against the Raptors.

Edit: NVM, I've seen him post in multiple threads.

One more thing I'll add is Spo was a complete moron (what else is new) for drawing up a play for a clearly struggling and clearly gassed Wade. He should have been the inbound passer with either Bosh, Dragic, or Johnson popping out off a screen. Even the prior play where Wade hit Johnson cutting to the rim should have been designed for Johnson to kick it back out for an open 3.

If Wade is going to take the final shot, there was plenty of time to pass the ball back to him if he was the inbounder. I have no idea why Spo drew up a play that pinned him in the corner. It was just idiotic finish all the way around and Spo continues to show that he's an amateur play-caller.

Wade has looked great physically so far, but he was definitely fatigued tonight. That was to be somewhat expected in his first back-to-back. We as Heat fans knew going into the season that Wade would probably struggle in some back-to-backs. It didn't help that his backup did something stupid that's keeping him off the court.

If a back-to-back game in game 6 of the season is giving this guy problems, then he is in trouble.

Last season Wade actually played well on the second night of back-to-backs, effectively using his "old man game". He was getting some good looks tonight but his shots weren't falling. He made some great passes and had zero turnovers, but late in the game he uncharacteristically forced some bad shots. He just had a bad game. Simple as that. It happens, but as I mentioned before he'll probably bounce back and have a great game against Toronto.

On a side note, it's interesting that 34 year old Wade having a bad game is noteworthy. That's a testament to how well he's been playing. Even past his prime, the perceived norm is that he is performing at a high level. When he doesn't, people take notice.

Burn......

First back-to-back of the season, so not exactly surprising, but op has some serious mental issues and a very strange obsession with D Wade.

Sure, then the guy might aswell be 0/0/0 on 0% though.. who cares about this random game, wont make a difference in the big picture, NBA finals in importance by a landslide. It was a jokes comparison to begin with. Wade is great this year, so far, lets hope it goes on into the playoffs :applause:

Dwyane Wade is starting to pick it up, 30 and 28 in the last two games.

And this place is way nicer without Dubeta and 20Four stinking it up, enjoy it while it lasts

I honestly didn't expect him to look this good this year. He's had some rough games and that will happen at his age, but overall he's been very good on both ends of the floor. Physically he looks as good as he has since the 2013 regular season. It's time for people to recognize that Wade's game is aging well and his longevity is turning out to be pretty good.

His per 36 numbers are 23/5/4/2/1 and his turnovers are at a career low. That's pretty damn good production from a 34 year old SG. He appears to be finding his offensive rhythm too, shooting over 50% the last two games. The most encouraging thing, however, is he's played in 16 of 17 games.
