You see it, your remember it, the 1-2 punch from 2008-10. Lion-O and Panthro's chemistry is magnetically powerful. Gotti is simply wonderful as a starter, all hurt feelings aside, it simply clicks.

Now it's time to look at the rotations when Irving/Shump/Jr come back. Without emotions, all logically, Cavs bros, humor it:

Starters:

Mo
Shump
Bron
Love
Mozgov

Midway rotation:

Irving
JR
Jefferson
Love
Thompson

Halftime Closers:

Irving/Delly
Shump/JJ
Bron
Thompson
Varajao

------- 2nd half

Mo
Shump
Bron
Love
Mozgov

Midway:

Irving
JR/JJ
Jefferson
Thompson
Varajao

Closers:

Irving/Delly?
Shump/JJ
Bron
Love
Thompson

let's just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Mo Williams (8-12, 16 points, 8 assists) and Richard Jefferson (7-11, 17 points) were wonderful acquisitions for this team and are supposed to be BENCH players on this team. When Shump and Kyrie return, they could be looking at a VERY solid bench with Jefferson, Mo, Varejao, TT, Delly and JR Smith putting in work

if anyone should come off the bench it's Kevin Love. we all saw how well they played without him in the playoffs.

Let him run the offense like he did in Minny with the second unit.

Jefferson is what they were expecting from Marion last season.

Nah. Irving needs to be the starter, but he needs to improve his defense.

Yeah. I love to see RJ finally wins an NBA title. Dude's balling this season.

Aside from your blatant lack of bball knowledge you really don't understand how athletes think and operate.

Kyrie Irving wants to be the best PG in the league he has been MVP on many levels and probably seems himself as an equal to Bran. He probably dominates in practice as much as Bran when healthy.

He will not, in his 'prime-climb', accept a lesser role.

Nor should he.

LeBron and Kyrie were very much in sync last season. His game really fits seamlessly next to Bron because he is such an elite shooter to go along with all his other skills. With the way Mo is playing, he should serve as one of the best backups in the league.

There is no need to get too cute with this thing. The better player should start and play the most minutes unless there is a serious clash in playing style. That has not been the case with Bron and KI ... or Love for that matter. I mean, when you're 32-3 the last 35 times you suited up with one another -- including four playoff wins -- there is no need to rock the boat.

Could work. Would allow Irving to chuck away for 12 minutes of every game. Look at the backbreakers Isaiah Thomas is dropping right now on teams.
