2nd group's more talented but injuries to VC and TMac make this a meaningless discussion.

Contrary to popular belief, Vince has only had two seasons (ten year prime years with Toronto and New Jersey) where he didn't play more than 73 games. 60 games in 2001 and 43 games in 2002. It wasn't until 2012 where he's play a 61 games season and last year he played 66.

I guess Grant Hill is a paragon of longevity then. Vince peaked in 2001. I saw him in NJ and Toronto, and he was not better in NJ. He was smarter but his lateral movement and quickness were gone. He could still jump thanks to being a 2 foot leaper but he was no longer the all round athlete.

Group B is undoubtedly top to bottom more talented. Not even an argument to be had. 2000 - 2009 ish is the greatest era of SGs I've seen.

You also left out Iverson, who should be there instead of Pierce who was more a SF.

A bunch of mini Jordans running around. Now we just got Harden, and Klay. Old Wade. And should've retired 3x years ago Kobe.

Current status is the worst era of SGs I've ever seen.

With that said, group 1 are the better defenders. Smarter. And more durable, as well as more proven or accomplished players. Probably better in terms of a fit on a team as well.

Not even sure if durability is even a thing. Playstyle can lead to injuries (Iverson/Wade) so you could argue that. Aside from that durability is largely based on statistical probability. I don't think there's guys that have substantially stronger ACLs or shoulder ligaments.

Iverson is little that's why I didn't add him. So was Dumars, but he's at least 6'4.

In 1998, Reggie almost beat MJ's Bulls in ECF.. In 2000, he took that same team to the Finals as #1 option and severely outplayed Kobe... Reggie Miller > Vince Carter and Ray Allen:
