Right now the following teams are doing worse:
-New Orleans, they'll pick it back up
-Sacramento(lol)
-Brooklyn
-Philly
If so, what are the odds of securing a top 3 pick? How good are the draft prospects this year if it's worth tanking one more season to get 4 solid prospects (Clarkson, Russell, Randle, Pick)?

Probably, but they are always just one serious Kobe injury (or faked injury) away from jumping back into the playoff mix.

Need to be bottom 2. I don't have the numbers in front of me (though I should check), but I feel like the chances of going from 3 -> out of the top 3 are higher than going from 3 -> 1 or 2.
Nets are going to have the worst record this season. All about being worse than everyone else IMO.

I guess. BKN and Philly will be worse.
Sac-town will find some games to win with DMC before that whole mess blows up and a trade happens

Yeah, they really need to be bottom two or there's just a huge chance that pick goes to philly. How amazing would the sixers brass look if they pull off the first and 4th pick in this coming draft?

Worse case scenario for LA would be if they didn't get their draft pick for two straight years.
Philly owns it this year with top 3 protected.
Orlando owns it the next year with top 5 protected.

I hope not but I find it quite likely :(

They will but will probably end up getting #4 or #5 and losing the pick.

Nets are worse and Sixers are experts in tanking. I think the Lakers will finish with the 3rd worst record.

The lakers curse will have them losing that pick. They will be bottom of the barrel and not get that top pick.
