Damn Jahlil be Kanter 2.0 out there.
But seriously it's incredible that a rookie is being criticized for not winning :oldlol: Hopefully he'll get better. in b4 that smug Wolves fan.

I'm criticizing him for not impacting the game. He is another Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Big Al (without the rebounding) and Love (without the rebounding). If you're happy building your team around that, then go for it.:oldlol:

I actually watched the 76ers game today. He is literally the only guy that can create a shot without getting blocked or embarassed.

Kanter and Okafor are both good big men.
Some of you act like a 19 year old and a 23 year old have peaked and figured everything out.

Ncaa screwed Kanter. Theres a reason big men go to Kentucky, to learn to play defense

He had like 15 rebounds today. Just after people were criticizing him for not rebounding.
It's too early guys. Nobody knows how these guys are gonna turn out yet.

Such an absurd thing to say. Okafor hasn't even played 10 games yet. That's the difference between them. Shareef made the playoffs once in a 13 year career. Love/Big Al are flawed players but still good players. Maybe not guys you build around, and maybe Okafor ends up being similar to that. Probably should wait a few years before determining that or even half a season :oldlol:

He had 15 rebounds today, was a very good rebounder in college, and is probably going to be a good rebounder in the NBA.

Its only like his 7th game? Can we at least give him an entire season before we judge?

Im not fan of Kevin Love but the idea that a guy 6 games into his career might be another Kevin love....and thats a bad thing?
The **** is wrong with these fans?
Kevin Love is a hall of fame talent even if his ideal role is as a #2 to an elite scorer.
Thid dude was putting up 25/20 games on such a regular basis it wasnt even noteworthy. Being on a bad team doesnt mean just anyone can go get 25/15...every night.
100% of the GMs in this sports history would take a Minnesota Kevin Love level of play out of their top 5 pick.
Not winning with a team that should have...at best...been good enough to still not matter doesnt mean you try to avoid players like that.
James Worthy in his prime wouldnt make the Twolves Love had some great team. Neither would Robert Parish. But in the right situation its a HOF career.
And really...forget Love.
Shareef....if you get a player that good with a pick...you made a great pick.
What world are people living in where they think TIm Duncan and the like are realistic goals with every high pick? A rebuilding team will take a young 18-23ppg tweener like Shareef EVERY TIME and try to build with him and other pieces.
IVe been unimpressed with Chris Bosh for 10 years...but its obvious any team would love to get a guy like young Bosh to go forward with.
It isnt Jordan/Kareem/Bird or get clowned.
Okafor looks like an incredible pick.
Not having them go ahead and carve out his HOF bust in advance like you could do with Shaq at 20 doesnt make him some joke. Hes 19 scoring well vs NBA defenders on a team that has been losing on purpose for years.
What exactly is he supposed to be doing? Turning them around like rookie Duncan? If he had a recovered David Robinson, Pop coaching, a world class franchise, and 3 more years in college he just might be helping do that.
But where he is? Hating a 19 year old for losing on a team that has been so clearly tanking execs and owners have openly complained about changing the rules to stop them?
Thats just being a dick.
If you think you can draw some serious conclusions about this kid after 2 weeks on a team that has made no effort to give him anything to win with you are on my internal ignore list for life.
This shit takes years. His NBA career is like 250 minutes in and he was in highschool a year and a half ago. There are multiple people in the HOF who went to 4 years of college, came in at 22, and were not starting till 27. This dude is being laughed at for putting up like 20/6 on a team that doesnt want to win when hes ****ing 19?
I could barely control an erection at 19 and this guy is banging in the post with Pau Gasol and wetting 14 foot bank shots putting up 20 something and 15.
Hes...doing quite well.
This issue might not be settled in 6 years. It is most certiantly not after 6 games.
