So I'm watching this Wiggins dunk from earlier tonight:

And something has me a little astonished...
How the f*ck did he elevate that much, despite barely, if at all, bending his knees? It almost looks like he just levitated up. :oldlol:
Am I the only one seeing this?

He's a Gawd bro.
He shits on MJ in terms of effortlessness two foot jumping and heights he reaches. Future GOAT.

Kyle Korver on Wiggins: "It feels like he's not even loading and he's jumping at the top of the backboard. I don't know even know if he's using all of his muscles."

Nice to see someone in the game notice it as well. Can't wait to see how this kid develops over the years.

That dunk reminds me of Westbrook if he was like 5 inches taller

His father was a NBA player who possessed above average NBA athleticism while his mother was an olympic sprinter who holds some Canadian records.

see this is some jordanesque level sh!t, a legit 44 inch vertical, ability to get UP off two feet without any effort. Compare it to that of Westbrook who has a pedestrian 36.5 inch vertical. He has to really STRAIN his knees to just barely dunk the ball.

this child is so talented that does not seem to make any effort on the court, it is natural for him

He is still learning how to harness his athleticism.
It is coming out in spurts, and when it does it is pretty impressive.

It is an ilusion - because of camera angel and explosivnes. Watch several times (use pause) and you will see that he bended his knees enough. However it is a great dunk with great speed and good leaping.

Because:
1. he doesn't weigh very much at all.
2. he curled off the screen at speed gaining inertia and momentum, and staying on your toes instead of bending your knees like crazy allows that momentum to be carried forward and up easier with less loss of the aforementioned momentum/inertia.
3. he did extensive calve and foot and toe exercises to increase his vertical since before puberty.
4. he has long arms, which makes anyone seem to jump higher (and he already jumps insanely high), because of how high the ball is above the rim.
