Kawhi Leonard: 24 pts, 3 rebs, 2 assts, 2 stls, 2 blks, 0 TOs on 10/13 shooting
Rudy Gay: 10 pts, 5 rebs, 4 assts, 1 blk, 2 TOs on 5/15 shooting

Announcers said Kawhi has been watching video of MJ and Barkley over the summer to deal with double teams and it shows, he's got some of the smoothest mid range moves of any player in the league. Averages 24 points on 52-38-89 and shooting 56% on 2 pointers with a high amount of mid range shots.

Once again showing the stat nerd autists that mid range is a great weapon IF and ONLY IF you can actually use it.

Kawhi is a 90s player through and through. This kids, is how the NBA looked like in the 90s, players like Kawhi and Duncan galore.

Kawhi is the best SF in league if not this year then the next. Durant doesn't play a lick of defense and Lebron is an oaf with declining athleticism.

He does need to get better at passing out of the double though.

KD won an MVP carrying a team of mediocre players to 59 wins. We can have this discussion when Kawhi does something similar.

He needs to look to pass more when he has the ball in his hands. His usage combined with only averaging 1 assist per game in 33 minutes is really odd.

He needs to make a move and pass like 3 to 4 more times a game. Nothing huge, but that would help the Spurs and his game a lot.

So youre saying Kawhi is a 90's player.... but in 2015 hes still not as good as Durant/Lebron

Therefore 2010s>90s

Kawhi outplaying Rudy Gay is NOT threadworthy. AT ALL.

Out playing KD, Melo, and Gay on both ends is thread worthy.

When Tim Duncan won his first finals MVP, Kawhi was in 2nd grade

Kawhi said his goal is to win more than Duncan. One thing in his favor is that he doesn't play many minutes - averaging 33.1 mins this season and only 29.1 for his career. He hasn't any major injury like Duncan with his knee and doesn't play the 38-40 mins that Duncan did in his prime.

Confusing weak era loaded with players with atrocious fundamental skills with impact in the game of said offensive weapons.
