I don't get your point.

I was right.

Kobe dialed it down to help the Knicks and Phil because he's so loyal and selfless.

Embarrassed the Knicks that he had to do that.

IDK....Wade is gonna go 110% at Kobe ( revenge for Kobe abusing him at the ASG/regular season)

meanwhile Kobe is on his apostolic tour giving hugs and handshakes.....

Kobe needs to get mad and play angry...maybe Wade will cheap shot him again?

hopefully.

This Laker team is actually very good.....

I expect a good game and LA getting the W.

No Knock on Kobe....he's just not in the right mindset right now to be " Kobe"

Dude is such a bitch. Of course he decides to "rest" when he actually has to go up against legit competition.
Bet anything he plays against Orlando tomorrow. Fcking front runner

It's his last year and the team is going absolutely nowhere. What possible benefit is there to resting him?? Resting him for what???

They could just lower his minutes if they really wanted to reduce the wear on him. There is literally no purpose/justification to sitting him out. He's played 6 games so far at 29 minutes each.

Dude is literally ducking Wade. That's all there is to it. :oldlol:

It's a bitch move, but in a way I can't blame him. Guy is getting humiliated by scrub shooting guards on a nightly basis, so of course he's scared to go up against an all star 2 guard (even if he is 34)
Kobe would likely be held scoreless if he played tonight :lol

Kobe protecting his stats, what's new!

If Kobe had played all games this and last season with the way he's jacking up shots, he'd have career avg of 24.xppg 43.x%fg and 31.x% 3pt

AI's more efficiency than him if you are counting how many great bigs Kobe had played with and how long Kobe had played under no hand checking rule.

Most overrated SG of all time

or....a warrior like Kobe doesn't want to play in front of the worst fans in sports...

honestly the Bitch made Miami fans don't deserve to watch a real star like Kobe.

I was right.

Kobe didn't play because he didn't want to embarrass Wade.

Unfortunately for Wade, he's embarrassing himself without any assistance.

Was it one of those things where he excused himself from the game like he did practice that one time this season?

Back problems.

Said he was having "spasms" before the game. All those shots he took in that 4th quarter vs NY probably set him back a few weeks. :oldlol:

In all seriousness, I don't know how more of these guys don't have back problems. It is hard being 6'3 for me, and dealing with some shit, especially when you go to gym 6 days a week. Yet these guys are probably working out 12-14 times a week, and they somehow push through 82 games. Especially being 6'8 and over. Shit just ain't made for people that tall.

I'd be sitting out every 3rd game with the way my back gets. :oldlol:

Is your issue serious?

If not the back, a gang of other debilitating shit. :oldlol: I remember listening to Drexler during a Rockets telecast saying he wakes up every morning with leg pain...15 years and change removed from the game and he still is sore. Crazy

I know I'd rather have "leg soreness" than back pain though. Fvck that.

Nah, the hurt I feel is nothing like the butt hurt Ai2death feels.

In all seriousness though, it isn't too bad. Just some QL, and general thoracic spine flexibility stuff that goes away with proper warm up. At times I will wake up with a tight lower back but mainly due to not warming down and laziness on my part.

I've learnt over the years of working out, especially if you're going just about every day, that you need to massage and roll out your muscles. You keep tightening those muscles and eventually your range of motion goes to shit, muscle is so short, that doing something quite basic like pulling your arm back a little to throw a ball can really hurt some back muscles. Or even pulling back to kick a ball, can hurt your hip muscles, etc.

I'm usually fine now for the most part. As long as I listen to my body and take it easy and stretch.

half of this thread's posts are just terrible. Have you ever had back spasms? Nobody would play through intense one, it's not really possible.

Back spasms are terrible, agree. Almost hurts to even sit up at times. Just get on the floor and stretch it like Steve Nash does.
