Until Jim Buss and Byron are gone..

I can't watch this shit show any longer. At least other bottom feeders have picks and some sort of plan. These idiots have run the team into the ground with only a turd at the end of the tunnel..

I couldn't believe on draft day when they selected cement feet over Okafor:facepalm I don't watch much college ball so I checked out every highlight I could find on Dangeslow, and I couldn't find one thing impressive or anything to suggest he should go top 10 let alone 2nd:facepalm

I don't mind randle and Clarkson but theyre just role players..

They could be more if they were allowed to develop. Join the Pistons bandwagon. We got some nice players you could vibe with.

Lakers fans share in the blame but unrealistic fan base feels it could contend forever while it was clear theyve needed a serious rebuilding effort years ago.

Calm down brother.
I see so many of my friends saying the same thing.

I am not surprised LA is 1-6, I didn't expect much this season.
We have a bunch of projects on the team, but I think it will all pan out eventually. We'll add one or two stars via free agency and by that time (1-2 years), I have faith that Clarkson, Randle & Russell will develop into solid contributors in this league.

We'll have a lot of cap space after Kobe retires as well.
The future is looking good, just need to show patience and support for the team right now.

Buss and Scott are obviously in cahoots to ruin the Lakers.

There can be no other explanation for such ineptitude.

Join the D-fender's (d-leauge) or Sparks fanbase. Even they are better than the lakers.

Hopefully they continue to suck for the rest of the year and get a top 3 pick in the draft ( hopefully #1 for simmons). Hate to root for my team to lose but probably the only way to get Buss and Scott.

And I wouldn't rule picking Russell over Okafor a full on mistake until the season is over.

We're entering our 3rd season since LA had Nash, Howard, Kobe & Pau on the same team. :facepalm

Wow, some of you are rediculous.
Look at Boston, how long have they struggled before winning a ring?

Give our management some time to pull the strings together, damn.
Patience is a virtue guys.

Jim Buss is only 56. He's got more than 20 years to go. His pops died at 80 I think.

he pointlessly gave himself a deadline to get the lakers back into contention by this year or next, if i remember correctly. said if that wasnt the case, he'd step down

obviously, the lakers are years away from the playoffs, let alone, contention. do i think he steps down?? hell no. but that quote will become the medias playground by the end of the year, as it should, considering how asinine it was

that's what I meant by when they go. Did he say jeanie would take over?
Ever since jimmy has been in charge it's just one bad decision after another.

As for the earlier post about Bostons rebuild, they were in contention till what, 2011? Now they have a decent team and the future looks great for them. They draft well and make smart trades with plenty of picks in the future.

The lakers have no picks realistically, yeah they have a bit of cap space after this year but when was last time a decent FA signed in LA? We've heard the same bullshit the last 3 off seasons and we get Lin, Boozer, and this years crop of shit..
I think randle and Clarkson will develop with a proper coach, the rest of the team is shit.

This roster is not built to win games right now.

Kobe sticks on to anchor down the team from wins and chuck them out of games. Scott remains the coach for the same reasons.

Lakers management trying to lose and build through the draft. Problem is they picked the wrong guy in the last one.

Next season they will have more flexibility. Pretty sure Kobe comes off the books too so if I were a Lakers fan, I'd like to see how next season shakes out before calling armegeddon.

drafting D'angelo as our PG of the future when we have Clarkson (our best player) with Okafor on the board was just dumb..... ppl normally lose their jobs over that sort of thing...

If only we could have got Cousins.... :lol **** the Kings

True fans stick with their teams, whatever the case. I've had to deal with a lousy franchise that's been floundering for the last 15 years. Haven't sniffed a title since 1973. Yes, I had to watch other teams last year because I would not entertain a tanking season. I also have to sit here and read shitty comments add nauseum. But finally something is taking shape, and it's exciting.

Lakers are taking their lumps now. It won't be forever. Keep your head up.

It's been downhill since Kobe's injury that ended his 2012/13 season. The team was playing well for once prior to it.

This was the point where I said the Lakers are doomed, and I will just watch the nationally televised Kobe Farewell Tour. I called it on and before draft night that the surefire pick was Okafor, but the Lakers made a colossal mistake that will haunt them for years. Meanwhile, "Lakers fans" were drooling and proclaiming D'Bustaslow the next GOAT PG. :facepalm

He'll be in the D-League or China in 5 years. Or maybe Euroleague MVP in 3. :lol

It's been downhill since the mavs sweep, phil left and the band aid fixes began.

If they would have just taken okafor and added better role players they would be in a million times better position..
