Pelicans played their first game without Davis last night, and won.

Pelicans played the Hawks tonight, and did better than when they played us with Davis.

Coincidence?

Yes. That's how the adding/subtraction of players work.

The Atlanta Hawks are 8-2.

Nevertheless, stay in topic please.

Anthony Davis is just another Empty Stats guy.

I hope the Pelicans see this thread right now and trade Davis to my Suns

He's not overrated but a good team does not 1 player make. Alvin Gentry might be the overrated one at this point.

He was an elite player last year about as good as anyone. This year he hasn't played at the level.

I tend to think last year (a full year and playoffs) was more indicative than a handful of games with a hurt team and a new coach, but that's just me.
