he is like LeBron, he relied on freakish athleticism

once that goes away he is exposed majorly

Lebron actually has a viable offensive game

Howard has nothing

Dwight was amazing in 2010-2011 he would been a superstar even if he had a average coach.

LeBron has a limited offensive game I would say but I agree Howard has nothing

Gundy made Howard but Riley made Gundy.

He had inflated stats in Orlando but its the opposite now. Granted he was better then but he's still very good.

I agree the Stan made Dwight look a lot better but I think that with his size and athleticism he would have figured out eventually and become very good.
You can't underestimate a injury to the back of someone who relies on his physical abilities so much, that what made Dwight looked bad on the Lakers and on the Rockets.

Back problems on a guy who relied on over powering opponents hurts. In his peak he would have dominated on any team especially considering the centre spot was weaker a few years ago. He's having a decent year though, he's at fifth in PPG for centres and has 12rbds per game.

SVG has made Drummond the new Howard, right down to the free throw shooting.

You cant just coach a guy to be a monster on the glass and on defense. SVG is a good coach, but give Dwight and Dre their own credit. Coaches cant just waive a wand and make players become good. These guys were highly touted prospects all their lives. Yes Stan has surely helped them, but part of it is just coincidence that hes had a chance to coach both of them. Like Phil coaching Shaq and MJ. He didnt just "make" those guys. They were already pretty good.

The f*ck? He's still a pretty damn good player... Not Orlando-level good, but still all-star caliber.
