Godzingas will surpass Dirk.
He just has that natural dominance about him that is so rare.

He has all the skills but he also seems to be physically tougher than Dirk ever was. He's much more aggressive on the boards, which is why he's getting those highlight reel putbacks. He's not in love with his jumper, he mixes it up in the paint and uses his size.

Once he gets stronger and more comfortable out there... Damn.

I'll admit, I wasn't sold on the decision to draft him. Even though, I knew the kid had serious potential, I wanted the Knicks to snag Mudiay. I have no doubt that he will become a star in this league though, but it may take some time for him to get there. It's gonna be fun watching this kid develop.

That kid who was crying at this pick should be slapped in the face and barred from all future Knicks games.

Porzingis' rebounding is very impressive. Most euro bigs are known to be soft on the boards. I think Porzingis will be a top 10 NBA player in the future. I bet Phil is laughing at Jim Buss!

Pretty harsh. He's just a kid.

Kristaps is clearly far more NBA ready than Dirk was in his first year. I love how the Knicks are playing him 25 minutes a game. He will develop so much this year by playing those minutes.

I wrote about that this summer...how even though Dirk wasn't ready...the Mavs played him 20 plus a night and started him half the games iirc.

Then he made a notable leap in his 2nd year and became a 18/7/3 56% TS player in his 2nd year.

Kristaps should be a near 20/10 guy next year if he gets the minutes and continues to develop. He's the real deal from what I've seen since the summer.

Still think the Knicks should trade Melo though.

agree with all of this.

I'm blown away by how tough and active Zinger has been.
