I would think republicians would have no problem with these ivory tower elites losing their jobs

This x1000.
This is coming from someone who attended school there, and hated it. So I have no allegiance to the place at all.
How is hundreds of kids calling for someone to get fired any less negative or hurtful than a comedian playing to the student union and saying 'queer' or something?
Saying "queer" is totally PC now. Didn't you get the memo? They even added a "Q" to the end of "LGBTQ".
I'm not exactly sure what the exact difference between a queer and a gay is. But, if there's a gathering of them, this is a perfectly PC conversation....
Person A: "Hey, who are those guys over there?"
Person B: "not sure. looks like it's a bunch of queers"

there are plenty of legitimate reasons to call for someone to get fired, but calling for someone to get fired just because he cant guarantee that he will be able to protect your sensitive little feewings is the lamest shit ever.

I actually think its hilarious. These social justice leftists who have been running colleges and poisoning minds are now being eaten by the monsters they created.

Is this gonna be the black version of occupy wall street?
Angsty young people in need of testing out their newly discovered ability to rebel, making incoherent and mob-thinked attempts at changing "the system" through vague platitudes and rhetoric about "the oppression"???
Because if so, shit could turn hilarious REAL quick.

I get that you're bitter for not going to college, but I'll let you in on a secret. Social justice leftists are not running universities; republican administrators are.

Instances like this normally happen in liberal arts colleges. You never see the engineering, science(the real science and not social science), law majors, etc, protest about PC issues like Halloween costumes or if the cafeteria serves Mexican food because it's cultural propitiation. They're busy studying and they don't fall in to this victim mentality.
All the protest is normally done by the social science majors who try to hard to make "change" and will play the victim card at any angle. It's all about attention and I don't really blame them because the shit they learn in their classes pretty much encourage them to protest and make change. When you have whole courses about "safe space" and cultural appropriation chances are they're gonna start preaching that shit and become radical the same way some religious fundamentalist becomes radical. And yes there's a comparison just opposite sides of a spectrum.
At the end of the days private universities stay winning because they're charging students $50k+ year to become social justice warriors. These kids are getting hosed badly and I do feel for them. They kids for the most part aren't learning any new skills, aren't pushing their boundaries and aren't even becoming more "diverse". They're just learning shit what any kid can do by looking at a tumblr page. And when it comes to real important issues many of these people are nowhere to be found.
They aren't even learning classic liberalism. They aren't even reading about plato, Aristotle, socrates, etc, anymore... They learn about safe space, cultural appropriation, white guilt, fat shamming, etc.

Yah no reasonable person thinks this. How many times to Conservatives have to be on the wrong side of history to realize they're viewpoints are completely wrong.

The thing about college is, it started as a place for kids who didnt need to work after high school bc their families had money. So it was like "okay, go learn latin and greek and a few things about science."
It was never about preparing for the job market. Most of these kids dont need to learn latin and greek or anything about science. The world still needs construction workers, butchers, bakers, restaurant managers, landscapers, postal workers, macy's shoe salesmen, telemarketers, etc etc. Most jobs dont require a university education.
All these kids just show up bc society bleets it into their head you cant be anything without a college degree. Obv as you said, a narrow scope of professions do legitimately require college and that's fine. But if you aint gonna be a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer etc... You are just wasting time that you should be working and gaining life experience. Still some exceptions ofc, even to that. I believe our own Dresta has long been involved in academia, but he clearly absorbs information and legit learns. Most of these liberal arts grads dont remember shit about what they studied. They pay, show up, get a degree, and expect a good job. These places are sheep factories.

Student leaders demonstrated, leading call and response chants of South African rallying cry — “Amandla! Awethu!” (“Power! Is ours!” in Zulu)
As a native South African and descendant of the legendary big d*ck Zulu warriors, this insensitive cultural appropriation offends me. How do I go about getting these punks ass kids expelled from their school?

No. You are misinformed.
Emory University's Demands:
“They do not provide any type of resources for black students to thrive and succeed at the University,” she said to the group. “Emory prides itself on being diverse so they lump us in here and just expect us to swim.”
In addition, she listed numerous demands for Emory administration that were later posted publicly online. The group’s demands are:
recognition of traumatic events for black students by the University
institutional support for black students facing trauma on campus
repercussions or sanctions for racist actions on campus
the consultation of black students and faculty during the implementation of diversity initiatives
higher compensation and positions for black staff and administrators
tighter job security for black administrators
increased funding and decreased policing for black student organizations
more faculty of color in all departments
Somehow, blacks before were able to graduate, just like whites.
But now, all of a sudden, there are no resources for black students at Emory. What resources do you want exactly?
They want repercussions for speech they do not agree with. If this was a bunch of whites who vote Republican, there would be an uproar and marches against oppression.

This is a actually a pretty serious national issue and right now and not really a time to joke around about this stuff.
But the answer is clearly fried chicken and watermelon.

What you are missing is that continued education, exposure to different types of people, learning to be an adult etc all work toward creating a more progressive society. When a 18 year old goes directly to work they are losing out on critical years of self development that is necessary for our world to be better than what it was in the past. It's not at all about work, and all about educating our minds to be open to others.
There is a reason uneducated people are the ones that act the most ignorant, or hateful. They simply haven't been exposed to anything but what they know and as such hold on so tightly to that one world view.

Yeah, kids dont need to pay 25 grand and do countless hours of worthless homework just bc you think it's important they learn about tolerance and diversity.
If they want they can spend that time after high school volunteering, traveling, working somewhere unfamiliar. Dont worry, they can still go to keg parties on the weekend to learn how to socialise, even if theyre no enrolled at an overpriced university. They can still join an orchestra or a chess club. Every city has one. And it wouldnt hurt them to work in a business for 25 hours a week instead of spending that time writing poorly written essays on the history of feminism.
No offense but your justification for a hugely overpriced, overvalued, over-relied-upon institution is so incredibly weak, its actually absurd. "Kids must spend four years at university, paying thousands so they can learn to think tolerane and diversity are as important as I do!"
Uhhhhhhh, no. That's gay.

It's hilarious that the people who are proud about being ignorant and not going to college are the same ones that would have benefited from going to college. Case in point, waste of oxygen that posts on insidehoops 24/7 that is Starface

Face it. It just looks bad. That pasty white bitch of a professor was caught on camera inciting violence. That's the only reason you're on here trying to separate yourself from your best friends. Give me a break.
