I love this guys game, and he's killing it this year. Spurs messed up letting him go. Honestly, I'd start him over Parker, especially with how the Spurs are operating these days.

Forever missed. Along with Tiago, Marco (though I bet he returns eventually) and especially George.

haha im very surprised the thread took this direction.

I've checked in on him and watched bits and i thought he looked like he's gone backwards.
He gets the ball, dribbles a bit forward, dribbles a bit back, gives off a nothing pass, repeat...

I miss Marco most, then Splitter (I'd miss him more if he stayed fit), then this fella tbh

I blazed up in honor of the organization getting rid of Ayres

Letting him go will be the reason Spurs dont win it all with this core. Parker is gonna get abused by the elite PGs in the West. Patty is alright but too small, shouldve kept CoJo over him.

He cant shoot. Spurs need point guards that can shoot

He's great, loved him on the Spurs. Ten more minutes of him - or Mills - and the Spurs would have won the Clippers series. He is much, much better than Porker.

If Lowry ever gets traded or eventually breaks down, I can see him starting. His only major weakness is range but he does have a nice step back.

The Raptors wouldn't be winning some games right now without him. I'd take him every day over Lou and Vasquez.

If they had re-signed him they wouldn't have been able to sign LMA. Soooo, no. The Spurs did just fine.

Corey has been fantastic at his role on the Raps this year, but that's it, he is a backup. He brings defensive intensity and good shot selection off the bench, which is exactly what you want from a backup. His defence has made him one of my favourite Raptors players in years, and he is an underrated dribbler and finisher at the rim.

He does not, however, have the skill set to be a starter on a top team, but as I said, for a team like Toronto he is a brilliant PG off the bench.
