Mayo was so good as a rookie...I'm really surprised he trailed off so much...has to be all work ethic

He was screwed and got drafted by a shit franchise in Memphis. Had he been able to come out straight out of HS he would have been drafted at least by the Hawks with the 3rd pick

Next Kobe/MJ. Juice plays nothing like LBJ, doesn't even play the same position, and he and Bron are close enough in age that a "next" comparison just seems weird.

He can still ball doe. Played really well in the playoffs last season.

Uh...no? He was compared to other guards, but Lebron? I don't know where you are getting that he was ever labeled "the next lebron".

OP probably means he had the same amount of hype as LeBron coming out of high school.

Nobody is labled the next lebronze.....nobody wants to watch "crab dribbling", stiff arms and ugly footwork...

....or because nobody is as good or unique, but hey thats impossible, i mean all you have to do is crab dribble, have stiff arms and have ugly footwork right? Certainly more easy & less unique than being just another SG who shotjacks....
